Glasgow crew (drivers) don't sign Edinburgh to Newcastle yet. However have been told they will be working Edinburgh to York

No mate as a trainee coming into the job for the 1st time you will love the job you won't know any better. However not alot of drivers leave otherTOC tocome to scotrail

Edinburgh has a range of routes and traction. But cam he intense. There is loads of rest day working

Won't be FL drivers much longer it will be TPE drivers once Glasgow depot gets fully opened and it will be down to York and not Newcastle

The guard compliment is increasing? There's a new drivers depot opening in Glasgow with 36 drivers that will drive Edinburgh to York as well

The freightliner drivers who drive the Manchester airport services from Scotland might habe ECML but actual TPE drivers don't at the moment but will eventually sign to York

I'm lead to believe that the majority of work at XC in Edinburgh are early shifts and as early as 0230. Again I believe they have 2 rosters and one of them is a single rest but with a full week off every 5 weeks or something like that. Sundays not part of the working week

Yeah overheads are up have been for a few weeks

I went for a job a few years back. I didn't get it because I had a fail to call. So that should answer questions about SPADs and TPWS
