One concern I have is the verbal comprehention. Using the SHL Direct site given by SWT I cannont read the question clearly and select the answer within the 30 seconds are the actual tests like this? The practice booklet has 4 questions for one paragraph.

455/8 I know it's off topic but you mentioned you was a guard previous to a driver, I have my assessment this Wednesday, can you offer any tips to help me pass? I'm doing the practice work in the book and online.

I f***** up my assesment on the concentration test, I miss read which shape to tick and subsiquently failed sub-test 2 everything else was perfect. It's going to a be a long 6 months till I can re-apply :cry:

If the position you applied for like me said Gaurd, Waterloo ticket selling and checking is not in the job role, only checking first class tickets is the rest is down to commercial guards. But thats not to say that they're wont be any tests on it at the assessments...
My assessment is actually next Wednesday 27th Im off on holiday on the 28th!!!!!!
I pressume if Waterlooroads assessment is on the 9th then any successful applicants wont be starting any training till after that date. I dont want to loose out on a great job because im on holiday.
