My daughter saw this yesterday travelling from Bury St Edmunds to Stowmarket. The school-kids-express was rammed (as it normally is) and she heard the school kids (or college kids) openly discussing there ticketless travel.
Rammed train - no way the guard can go through it and no barriers at...
I agree with most of your points. The only thing, in terms of pricing, is the the work involved in creating routes and locos.
I know developers who are working 10hour days for 18months creating routes with no other income.
It's a tricky one. But like you I certainly haven't invested in...
To be fair any locomotive can fail at any time of the day for a variety of reasons... If you followed any of the NNR's postings you'd know that since return from Rileys overhaul she has been plagued with problems [MY OPINION ONLY].
A lot of us, including those who contributed serious ££££ to...
That makes more sense.... So Field Divert is really field dampening then?
My background is National grid electrical engineering so it's not something I come into contact with really.
Thanks for replying - very interesting.

Hi Forum!
Hear a lot of people talking about the field-divert kicking in... Can anyone explain what it is? Google has been less than helpful!
I understand on the old DC Woodhead loco's that you could change
between serial & paralleling the motors - that makes sense to my EE mind.
But...
I've been using the Nikon D5300 and Sigma 18-250 since Christmas. Love both of them and the sigma means I don't need to change lenses 'in the field' especially when the field is normally saturated with steam and coal particles!
Also have a 35mm prime lense [fixed focal length] that I love for...
I was in Scotland the day before and after the vote. Not one thing ever got said
or felt was anti English (and I'm an Essex boy.. easily mistaken for a 'london' accent)
the whole Scottish thing, I believe, was & is Anti-Parliament. Not Anti-English.
And who can bloody blame them.

Thanks guys.
I also gave the Rail-Card people a call who confirmed the same.
I've copied the page of the T&C's and stuck it in my handbag just in case! But yes, providing she is travelling with me then until her 17th she can travel as a child.
Again thank you

All,
The Situation :-
3 Year F&F Card purchased October 2014 expires October 2017.
My daughter turned 16 on the 14th July 2015.
From my understanding we are still entitled to the discount until the day before her 17th Birthday [13th July 2016]
So when I book the tickets from...
given that 90% of the attraction of the small rogue one was it's ridiculously cheap budget....
are we sure it's just not a CRT buried in the polystyrene walls?!

If it's not been fixed (I gave up at 21:00 last night) Then please raise a support ticket.
Once you have been round about 3 sets of 'reboot your pc rubbish' you might get to a human being!!!
I emailed them this morning pointing out all the threads in the Help Forum.
I hope that it will...
I second that. I was also there Saturday and loved every minute of it.
Certainly the only time my generation was likely to have seen 92220 (even as a close facsimile) on the rails.
Very well done I thought.

Nice shots Mr Pacer of Grimsby!
It was dull, cloudly and misty in Suffolk...
It went a tad dark, but not much more.
The only interesting thing was watching all the solar farms output slowly going down then back up!
