    Funny Guard Announcements.

Anyone ever heard a guard say "Scream if you want to go faster"? Would be brilliant if anyone had!

    Football

We've got an M55 derby in the cup. As a Preston fan, I will be looking forward to this, should be on sky simply because it will be huge.

    Huddersfield Barriers get Cat Flap

Neither of them do any more. I've been to/through both many a time and there's no station cat :p

Big space in Garden-what to do?

Dig into the ground, take away the grass and set up a ground high trampoline?

    Bus Timetable Booklets

First in Dorset do them. There's loads of old ones in the flat I stay in, dating back a few years.

    Emirates Air Line

I've known it to get quite busy, however sometimes it can be like a desert it's that barren. My assumption is that the costs of riding the cable car are too high. If, and this is very tounge in cheek, Emirates had decided to make this more central to London or perhaps offer a cross-London cable...

    I collect rail tickets

I've learnt how much postage costs to send my stuff to you and it's 50p for second class or 60p for first class stamps. I'll negotiate everything else in pm if you wish to have the tickets I've already told you about.

    Preston's Lynx

Travelling on the 695 every day this week, I've noticed that every journey has been operated by the much smaller Versas and Solos. Anyone know why the Lynx isn't in operation?

Clip-Air: is it a train? is it a plane?

Beats my idea of clip on wings and runways made out of railway lines! I really hope this takes off, Preston to Geneva train journeys would be decent.

    Football

Yeah but can he score a hat trick then in the reverse fixture score an exact replica of THAT David Beckham goal? Best of luck to Alessandra. Top player, has run rings around us at Preston before.

    Thames Clipper Commute

The clipper would be so much nicer if it was included in the Travelcard and had more integration with Oyster, but I respect the reasons against this. The free wifi however, is brilliant and the journey is at a decent speed, I'd love highspeed metro boats where safety permits mind!

    London Underground Challenge Today (01/06/2013)

Held at Camden Town thanks to my incompetence? My apologies

    I collect rail tickets

Eh, I think I might need a new card holder soon. I think I'll take it, if nobody else wants it of course.

    Football

That's partially because Pearce isn't playing the best keeper! Declan Rudd is, without much argument, the best keeper on the team by far. He's conceded, I think 8 or 9 goals in the second half of the season, and can save an Odemwingie penalty. While we're at it with Preston, why don't we call...

    Football

Liverpool fans get it rough. First the trouble getting to Wembley not too long ago, now their fans can't get the train to Preston for the Bill Shankly commemoration match because the line's blocked.

How many dedicated mail trains still run?

Certainly is. I've seen it before, among with some others that I suspect were just stabling, or there temporarily

Trivia: Trains with unusual stopping patterns

    I know. That's why I said I wasn't sure. Southampton was a calling point I recall.

    Football

Not a mention of top class winger Chris Humphrey denying the Europa League, Rangers, most likely promoted Reading and Wolves for measly little Preston. Mind, I'm buzzing about the whole thing...
