No there is no extra for London allowance in the pay. Or for nights / Sundays. The Shunter drivers based at Shoeburyness get paid the same money as the ones based at East Ham depot. The only extra pay you would get was if you work overtime or bank holidays.

If the current pay deal that is on offer gets voted in I believe the shunt drivers should be on around 30,000 from April. With minimum 3% rise each year for the next 3 years after that
