I have heard the beware of slippery platforms due to inclement weather announcements at Kings Cross a few times when it was warm & sunny and the platforms were completely dry. It may have rained much earlier in the day but the announcements seem to keep playing all day.

There seems to be a train missing in the GN timetable. After The 08:15 Letchworth to Kings Cross stopper there is a 72 minute gap for direct services to Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield or Potters Bar until the next stopper at 0927 after which the usual off peak half hourly pattern resumes...

That could increase the time It takes to change trains between platforms depending how many gates there are on each side and how many other passengers are in the same lift especially if travelling with luggage. Currently I think the minimum interchange time is set at 4 minutes.
