    Intercity Push/Pull Railtour

Shame, I think they could have ran a few tours. I'm sure one to the coast with their 37s on a summer weekend to somewhere on the south coast would have been a seat filler. Or maybe a buffer puffer style trip.

    West Malling train fire (02/02/2023)

I drove the first train up from Ashford after the fire was out and the line reopened (around 1930) Signaller at Maidstone appreciated it was dark but wanted the lines London end of West Malling examined, arriving there NR and Fire Brigade were still on site examining the platform and 4ft. The 6...

The most out of date advert you have seen at a station [Triva]

I remember seeing an advert for Now! That what’s I call music 42 (released in March 1999) at the old platforms at London Bridge. It was still there in 2010. It was under the stair well where the stairs went up beneath platforms 2/3!

I noticed this coach at Barrow Hill on Saturday during the 56 tour. Is this a networker coach?

    Southeastern 465/9

Not sure if they are needing repairs but 926 and 903 have been dumped on the wall siding at Victoria for about a fortnight now.

    Southeastern 465/9

    Southeastern 465/9

I think so far they’ve tried to bring two units back from storage for repairs (465240 was one, can’t remember the other) each unit spent about a fortnight at Doncaster then went back to Ely and nothing since then, so there’s not much incentive at the moment. 1671033082 Some photos from a passing...

    Southeastern 465/9

It was parked up at Bromley North between April and about July, it was then moved inside the shed at Victoria #1 road around August then moved to the wall siding. Apparently it might have to go by road for repairs, not sure how they’ll get it out or where it’ll go from but the unit has been...

I first noticed it in 2018.

    New NSE logo on 465047?

The 8 isn’t the original font on it, I think the panel is originally from 179.

    December 2022 Timetable Changes

The crossing moves at Lewisham will be reduced from 24 per hour down to just 8 during the off peak. The two Victoria-Dartfords every half an hour in each direction makes 4 and I’m assuming the two Dartford to Charing Cross via Woolwich every half an hour in each direction makes up the other 4...

    Medway Valley Line Signage Question

Years ago there was a direct service from Maidstone West to Three Bridges/Horsham, so that may explain it.
