just got to sit tight and wait for the assessment dates, they will be over the next 12 months from October,im hoping for a later date so some info about the new tests will be available, that said if you are a suitable candidate then the tests should be no problem for you hopefully
I have tried to slow myself down rather than speed up and that's when my results greatly improved, like all the advice says accuracy is the key not the speed
How many lines did you complete and how many did you miss?
Im practising at moment and a pace where I don't miss any out lets me completes 11-12 lines.
Im in same position, might be best to try get an assessment a few months down the line,or early next year, that way you might see some feedback on here what the new tests are all about.
At 6'4 and 16.5 stone my bmi says im overweight although i hardly have any fat on me!so i guess they look at it not just as a bmi figure but how healthy the person is overall
If the advice I gave for how I successfully filled in an application form is then used by an applicant to give the same answer during an interview then I agree with you, they would deservedly not progress.
Good advice about the word of mouth :-)
Well thankfully it wasn't you reviewing my application as I have got through to the next stage.
cant remember the exact wording,it may of even been why have you applied for this job.
Just goes to show that you can give some rubbish answers on some parts but as long as overall you seem suitable...
My advice would be keep it concise, truthfull and simple,if you are suitable you will hear back.
For instance the question which read why do you want to join our company as a trainee driver??? my answer was simple..........career change!
Had email today saying I had passed the first round in the recruitment process, next stage will be a trainee drivers assessment session, will email soon with some dates, which will be after October 2013 when changes to the testing come into force.
With these new assessments coming into force...
hopefully her something soon, not got my hopes up though as said im not willing to re-locate...........maybe easy to relocate when on full wages but if dropping to 18k a year would be a bit of an ask to do it the price it costs these days.
I was pretty sure I knew them all beside the balance one, that was an educated guess,i don't condone anybody cheating my post was just pointing out this system of testing could be open to abuse and I hope theres something in place to stop it.
Wonder if they log the ip address of the applicant, or give each one a diff set of questions otherwise whats to stop a creating a false ID so the can apply, see the questions, research the answers and then re-apply???
I was also expecting a lot more questions, but they did say it was being timed so if somebody took 15 mins and got them all right thats probably an indication they tried to google the answers, only one I wasn't sure of and had to make an educated guess.
