My other video from Saturday, this time I did managed to just miss the rain - though it came very very close going by how visibility dropped between the two E-Jets.

Ever had one of those days filming where everything goes wrong.
On Tuesday morning (my first day off that had good weather) I headed out to Exeter Airport. Ended up not being able to find the first aircraft and managing to press stop instead of zoom on the second! To ad insult to injury I'd...
The new Leipzig City Tunnel opened last week linking the Hauptbahnhof with the Bayerische Bahnhof. It'll be strange seeing the city centre without the construction hoardings ;)
Bear in mind that Leipzig is about the size of Bristol :)

I've just booked a couple of days in Genève in Feburary. Does anyone have suggestions for things to do and see (as well as possible photo/film locations)
Thanks in Advance :)
Rather interesting that the Government are not happy, wonder if they fear what would happen if people found out the reality wasn't what typical Tory voters fear?

The biggest cost by far for an airline is Fuel, A 180 seat A320 for example will burn about 2tonnes per hour averaged over a flight.
Assuming a Ground Speed of 500mph that means the A320 will burn 4kgs per mile on average so ~ £4 per mile cost.
With the railways the biggest cost is...
Doesn't look like there is much new there. Plaxton have been busy with a new Leopard (replacing the Profile) and Panther Mk3 with Elite rear and there is a Hideous new Gemini 3 hybrid
Is there any way to find out if the 06:15 NX501 from Exeter or the 19:00 501 from Victoria tomorrow are allocated to Elites or Panthers. I'm hoping for Power Sockets (which the 15m Panthers don't have) :)

And the answer was Elite going up and Panther...

The Electrowerkz club in London has what appears to be a 1983 stock in use as a bar/dj booth? Does anyone know if it's mock or genuine?
*was too drunk to give it a proper examination last saturday night*
Just passed Axminster and see that the loop had been switched back to left hand running. Is there a treason for the switch as the line hadn't been open that long
Had a short trip on a 150/1 with LED lighting today in place of the standard flouresent tubes and I can't say I'm keen, while the strip of LEDs was bright the light was rather focused leaving a lot of dark spots. Is this common with LED lighting in trains?
Looks like it might be a driver's Barbecue - no service today between Lincoln and Newark and between East Midlands Parkway and Liverpool due to a crew shortage...
