It'll be Alright on the Night!

Ever had one of those days filming where everything goes wrong.

On Tuesday morning (my first day off that had good weather) I headed out to Exeter Airport. Ended up not being able to find the first aircraft and managing to press stop instead of zoom on the second! To ad insult to injury I'd not charged my battery and forgot the spare so had to try and salvage the footage into a "It'll be alright on the night"

Ever suffered from the dreaded 'reverse trigger' syndrome where you are so busy concentrating on what you are filming that you fail to notice that the camera is running when you think it's stopped and vice versa? I had many shots of my trousers, the ground and the sky before I learned to check for it.

Yep - I've done that more then once. Usually I start running the video a few seconds early and check record is running and trim it out in the edit
