    Chester Zoo validity

Evening all, I live in Warrington, and sometimes have cause to visit Chester Zoo. I've discovered this combination ticket, which represents quite a saving on the usual train fare + bus fare + entry charge. Can anyone shed a bit more light on the validity? The Merseyrail website suggests it...

    Durham - London (17/6/2011)

Hello, I'm trying to get the cheapest Durham-London return I can, with a 16-25. I'm free to travel any time of day, but ideally want to be in London by early evening (say 1900) on the 17th. Coming back on the 18th, but ideally not leaving before 0900. I've tried a few different routes...

    Durham station

Joining the chorus of yeses, yes! I'm a student at Durham Uni, so use it all the time to get home (Across the pennines), or else to Newcastle/Metrocentre/Edinburgh.

    2 railcard queries

Nope, you won't need the original form. When I did mine, woman gave me a "replacement form" to fill in, and that was that. I believe you only need the receipt if the original railcard is destroyed or lost, so they have proof that you once had one...

    Cheapest fare London-guildford

Can't help on magical moneysaving I'm afraid, but I can confirm that a season ticket wouldn't save you any money. An Anytime return will set you back £20.30, so three of them will be £60.90. A 7day season would be £72.80.

    London - Warrington 18/4/2011

Yeah, I'm an AFA with Durham LINKS. We aren't getting any expenses for it, which certainly adds to the wish for cheap travel. ;)

    London - Warrington 18/4/2011

Yeah, that 0539 would be very nice indeed, but I'm staying with someone out in Acton, so it'd mean getting up early and getting one of the first tubes of the day. I think that EMT itinerary sounds great, thanks bb21! I can get picked up from Manchester, so that'll be fine :) Thanks everyone...

    London - Warrington 18/4/2011

Sorry, I didn't explain myself too well there. I'm travelling down on the Saturday, and was planning on returning on Monday, though I could do Sunday night if it worked out cheaper.

    London - Warrington 18/4/2011

Afternoon all, I wonder if you can pull any magic out of the hat for my journey home from London next month. I'm down providing First Aid for the marathon on the 17th, and am trying to work out how to get home fairly cheaply. (Treated myself to a First Advance on the way down, as it was only £1...

    VOID VOID VOID from TVM

What about this pair, which Liverpool Lime St presented me with the other day? Some kind of feed error, but you'd hope it'd notice. Then again, maybe that's why you get them, the machine suspects there's something wrong with the stock its printing on. Not a clue on the internals, but I'm...

    VOID VOID VOID from TVM

Morning all, I've had a search, but can't seem to find a definitive answer to this. Apologies if its in the wrong place. I've noticed that quite often when I buy or collect tickets from a TVM, I also get a blank with VOID printed across the middle of it. Any idea why this is? Obviously, I...
