This has really been bugging me for some time now. One of BBC's little advertising fillers, where they show various weather clips from around the country. Just can't quite work out what station this is?
Thanks for the advice, took TL in the end on the outward, which is valid in any case.
One could also argue the rear declass 700 is more comfortable than GatEx ironing boards anyway.
Edit:
Just for completeness, I took the GatEx on the return journey (not stopping at ECR), gtr staff member on...
Thanks @MrJeeves . Yes I did spot that earlier, it's only 9.55 for a sop rtn from ECR with nse card. My only concern there would be the "the last station at which one Ticket is valid and the first station that the other Ticket is valid are the same" clause in 14.3, though it sounds daft me if...
Just a quick one - one day travelcard (z1-6), and a cdr from coulsdon sth. to Brighton. Would this be valid from Victoria on the Gatwick express to Brighton (first stop Gatwick), under nrcot sect. 14.3? Or if not, a thameslink service from London Bridge ?
Looks like that diagram is completed with 5Q22/23/24 (two more round the Hounslow loop and one to Clapham yd), although not always worked.
Eg. 5Q22 today only went as far as Clapham, assume path used to return to the yard.

Ah OK, thanks. I always thought one zap from that and you were gone. Guessing duration, resistance to ground, etc. all play a part (but that's for another thread)
Thankyou very much for the photos @Rogersbmx , much appreciated. Also keen for a ride on these to Pompey, I was lucky enough to have several trips on the same line in the refurb 442s, before they got withdrawn.
My immediate thought upon announcement of scrappage was all those seats with new covers etc., could be reused. Would they fit in a 458 without modifications though?
I noticed on the uk rail log page referred to earlier, according to the 442 section several units have been taken to Wolverton to be stripped for donor parts for 458's. Any idea what parts? Interior perhaps? Assume if swr paid for the refurb the bits are technically theirs? Or if not, a buy-back...
