06:08 LDS-MCV was always a 155 until this July, it's now diagrammed to be a 150, but usually only manages it about 3 days per week - it's then usually replaced with a 142, or the occasional 158 (but always a 2 car!). Frequently leaves people behind at Rochdale but Northern still keep sending a 142.

It's currently working 2M00 07:18 LDS-MCV. To say nothing to write home about would be kind - I was also hoping for the ATW treatment.

There is a direct Lockerbie-Carstairs at 07:11 Mon-Fri. It calls at Carstairs to provide an earlier Edinburgh connection from the south. Nothing in the other direction.

1. Is not true. Eg: you have a Glasgow to Manchester VT & connections ticket. You use VT from Glasgow to Preston. Your connection is then on Northern or TPE but you can't use it on TPE unless that's the train you have a reservation on. (Unless there's some kind of delay to your journey).

I can confirm the 16:55 MIA-CLE will be a 6 car from MAN-CLE on Mon-Thu. On a Friday it's still a 3 car as the 185s are needed for Glasgow services.
