I have noticed that buying the Bargain Berths means that you cannot get a refund or change your ticket under any circumstances, not even for the £10 admin fee. However, you are entitled to a refund if the train is cancelled or delayed.

Yes, I would only pass ticket onto another female as I am aware of the same sex policy.
Passing onto friends or family is a good idea, especially if family member has same surname etc.
