Hi All,
a friend has an advance ticket for the LNER Lincoln to Peterborough 18:20 service, which has been cancelled, along with seemingly every LNER service from Lincoln for the rest of the day. The service page only says that replacement bus services would be organised between Lincoln and...
Emirates (The Airline) has launched a new website selling rail tickets in Britain and some other European countries.
It's an unbelievable mess, with problems including:
- Showing departure and arrival times offset by one hour for GB rail services
- Charging a 10% markup on every ticket sold
-...
Is there any indication how long the disruption will last? I must get to Heathrow from Cambridge (departing Cambridge around 3-4pm) and am considering just getting a bus to St Neots. Does anyone have any clever suggestions? Thank you.
No idea about Sicily, but for Lombardy and Milano there is a good value rover ticket I'd recommend

Hi @jjh29mars, you are right and the lady was wrong.
The official document interpreting different tickets at ZET is here (croatian only), with the relevant section being III(10) saying:
This says it's valid on the day of the validation and until 4am the next day.
Thank you MotCO - soon after posting the Eurostar staff member came through the coach offering mr a link to book a Taxi to Cambridge so my problem was sorted.
He was telling people that any destinations up to 120 miles could be booked through the link, but if you needed to go further you could...
I'm on the last service out - was booked on the 19:12 service, but that departed without me so they rebooked me onto the 21:12 one that will seemingly depart soon.
It's almost certain I'll miss the last connection to Cambridge and will only be able to make it to Royston - does anyone know what...
Thank you!
Funnily enough the question ended up being somewhat moot since delays on the Cambridge-London leg and the underground made me miss the 20:20 stopper and just barely making my preferred 20:23 train directly to Oxford.
I'm travelling from Cambridge to Oxford and bought an advance ticket via the forum's booking site. To my surprise, the printed ticket has only the Cambridge-London train, with no details at all about the trains to take between Paddington and Oxford.
What trains can I then take between London...
I was recently doing some train travel across Baden-Württemberg south-west Germany and wanted to report on an interesting, but relatively simple permitted routes system. In the absence of any provided route information (which has been discussed in detail in other threads of this forum) you're...
Thank you, that's unfortunate. Shame I was effectively forced to either wait an extra 30 minutes due to the cancellation at East Croydon or pay more to find a different way.
Hi all,
I have a question regarding whether delay repay is due with self re-routeing.
I had a super off peak return from London Thameslink to Brighton and travelled from East Dulwich to Brighton, changing at East Croydon.
However, on the return journey, while on the 1758 Brighton to Bedford...
