Hi all,
I have a question regarding whether delay repay is due with self re-routeing.
I had a super off peak return from London Thameslink to Brighton and travelled from East Dulwich to Brighton, changing at East Croydon.
However, on the return journey, while on the 1758 Brighton to Bedford train, I saw that the 2tph train from East Croydon at 19:14 was cancelled and decided to continue up to London Bridge and then took the 19:14 train to East Dulwich from there. I paid for the London Bridge - East Dulwich train with Oyster and actually arrived a few minutes before the original cancelled train from East Croydon would have gotten me there.
With that, am I due any delay repay or am I out of luck? Thank you!
