    London spotting and photting

Hi all Some knowledge required from London spotters please! I've just moved down here from, er, Norwich (funnily enough!) My local station is Anerley in SE20, which means I've plenty of other stations and lines in the vicinity. What I'd like to know is, where I can go locally with...

Which stations has the lowest passenger numbers ?

There must be a number of stations in East Anglia that are reasonably high on this list (or low, depending upon your viewpoint!) Shippea Hill, Eccles Road, Spooner Row and Harling Road hardly have any services (Norwich - Ely line). As previously mentioned, Berney Arms is a request only...

    Least favorite class of loco?

31119 turned up in Norwich today, on a Serco route learning trip from Derby - not sure if it was just the fact that it was a welcome distraction from the usual procession of units and 90s, but I found myself appreciating the class all over again! So much so, that I chased it to Sheringham -...

    Least favorite class of loco?

I'd agree that the Class 70 looks pretty ugly. For that very reason, my least favourite is the 20 - just can't endear myself to them. Can't agree re: 47s though - they're my favourite - not the most spectacular loco by any means, but for sheer durability they deserve admiration, imho.

    Bristol to Norwich footex

Final question (I suspected 67s): Any ideas as to whether it's running via Cambridge, or via Stratford/Colchester? My guess would be Cambridge...?

    Bristol to Norwich footex

Hi I wonder if anyone can help: I read today that Bristol Rovers have organised a football special direct train for their match at Norwich tomorrow. Would anybody happen to know of timings/routing, and if possible traction? You'll be top of my Christmas card list!

Who is your LEAST favourite TOC? - vote here!

I'd have thought the same before I travelled with them for the first time on Saturday. The on-board staff - particularly the train manager - was rude, unhelpful and aloof in responding to a simple enquiry as to why they'd closed an entire coach for no apparent reason. Additionally, 1730...

    CrossCountry Cancellations

Just noticed that the 14.08 XC Edinburgh to Plymouth terminated at Bristol TM, and the 18.05 Manchester Picc - Plymouth terminated at New Street. Obviously got serious issues today.

OK, thanks... ...but who or what are the "Lords"? Fellow bashers? Or the locos?

    "My Lords"

Yes, most people I've heard using it do tend to be acting like nobbers, it must be said. Thanks for the pointers :-)
