December starts so I was told, already recruited around 8 drivers due to start before December.
Nearly 4000 have applied for trainee vacancies and if you don't live within the stated distance your automatically rejected.

For you LOROL workers out there, do you get free travel for your dependants, I understand the one for yourself and one nominated person part but what about the children.

Good luck people, Chingford ain't a cheap area to live though, £1400 per month for a 3 bed is the going rate, I'd try Essex or Hertfordshire for a better standard of living.
Not true, Liverpool street get the same as Chingford, Bishops Stortfort get around £1200 and even Cambridge get £800 and I can confirm this as I've worked at Storford and am now based at Chingford.

Read this but start from page 34, seems that they reduced the driver training package down to 38 weeks from 72 but were finding that most new trainees were actually taking nearly 100 weeks so I guess that is why they are going down the already qualified route as they would be saving money, just...
