Thanks that's what I thought, around 6 months I guess then as this is when route knowledge would be lost without refreshers.

Does your licence expire after a certain amount of time out of the industry.

Good luck people, Chingford ain't a cheap area to live though, £1400 per month for a 3 bed is the going rate, I'd try Essex or Hertfordshire for a better standard of living.

Not true, Liverpool street get the same as Chingford, Bishops Stortfort get around £1200 and even Cambridge get £800 and I can confirm this as I've worked at Storford and am now based at Chingford. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- £2673 to be precise, just checked wage slip.

Read this but start from page 34, seems that they reduced the driver training package down to 38 weeks from 72 but were finding that most new trainees were actually taking nearly 100 weeks so I guess that is why they are going down the already qualified route as they would be saving money, just...

Is this not open to existing employees only. Would be interested but I see that they are taking on a lot of trainees at the moment so can only guess that this is to back fill exsisting employees taking up the offer on the UAE. Sent them an email to clarify anyway.

Didn't even get to candidate progressing just got rejected after screening. Not sure how that works but as I stated in other posts not the end of the world. Personally I don't even think they looked at my application. it's who you know not what you know and that is fair enough just wish I never...

Still heard absolutely nothing, application status still not change so think I will give em a call later today. Anyone had any success yet with the drivers position.
