Could anybody give me details of when this service finished. Advertised as a Rail-Road link between London Euston and Stratford upon Avon. With Coventry being the interchange point. Thanks.
Stratford upon Avon Seven Meadows road runs on the original Stratford upon Avon & Midland Junction Railway route through Old Town Station then continues on Great Western Railway Honeybourne route to the old Evesham Road Crossing.
Has anybody got any idea where this title would apply on a UK Railway historically as I have armband
with this title.Only reference I can find to this specific grade is the Yarmouth-Beccles section.Could it have been for temporary working ?
I think Highlandspring has answered my question, Howevever I did get confused a little as I remember the secondman in cab of diesel but also remember second man in rear cab of freight trains but driver alone, presumably taking on role of guard when brake vans were phased out.
