Probably a silly question, but is the reason that the line between Eastbourne to Hastings is limited to 70mph because of signalling and (or) track condition? Just seems that for 'fast' trains something like 90mph might make a useful difference to timings? Cheers.

Just tried to book a single from Paddington to Worcester Foregate St and it didn't have an option for the goldcard upgrade - even though when booking one to Oxford it did. Bit confused as Foregate St is within the old Network Card area.
