advice on split ticketing.

Morning all.

Hoping someone can give me a bit of help please?

I have a friend who wants to get from St Leonard's W Square to Oban on daytime trains probably in second week of May (dates pretty flexible).

He has a disabled railcard and wants to bring another person with him - unsure of return date at the moment, but just wondering if there is a useful split ticketing option to save some £ for them please and if so which site would you recommend him to use for the ticket purchase ?

The customer service and advice is extremely readily available!

It also has a seat selector for any seat-reserveable train, even for those Train Companies that don't offer such a facility themselves which is my personal favourite feature.

I wasn't too sure where St Leonards was, but after looking it up, it may be worth buying a Two Together railcard to save some money.

Just checking, with a disabled railcard a second person also gets the 1/3 discount anyway

They've got a Disabled Railcard though, so not only no time restrictions compared with a Two Together but can bring a companion who will get a discount too.
