I’m on the BLS tour so I can afford to miss that, do you have any idea what route the polar express goes
There is another thread which you have seemed to have found so will just leave the polar express to that thread

Just seen that Deltic 55022 has been to Chester and back on a test run light loco, is this in preparation for a tour or something?

Looks like the Deltic has been subbed out for 57302 for the Euston return, which is a shame, is there a reason or do they just want to give the Deltic the smallest possible window of breaking down?

They also had 89001 pan up on the back of 1Z55 earlier, possibly just in case the Deltic called it a day on the fasts between Hanslope and Hillmorton as I noticed from videos that it was down as it left Euston?

One of the engines on the Deltics was said to have shut down, and it needed attention of the travelling fitter on the run from Euston...
