I reckon that these new Weaver buses will be bound for Leeds, with the existing fleet being shunted off to other locations - which in turn may get rid of a few older buses, but in some cases the locations may not be in West Yorkshire itself. E.g. First may decide to move the Enviro400's to York to replace what's required there and Arriva may move some newer Enviro200's or Pulsars to Selby, Whitby or Derby to replace the more clapped out stuff there.
Whilst on a break, I did notice that on the side of the new Weaver Network AccessBus it doesn't have Queen Tracy I's name stuck on the side as part of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority's logo, just a generic Mayor of West Yorkshire instead. How long this charade carries on for I do not know, but hopefully a new Mayor in 2028 will scrap this vast waste of public funds and return it back to how it was. This does include binning the Weaver Network, which I still cannot see the point of.
