If it’s the same one as I did last year with with a different company, it should be 3 tasks

There might be some movement from the Recruitment team in the coming months for both the most recent campaign and the previous campaign (which was the one I applied for).
I just got a call for a 18 Jan 2027 course start date. Anyone else?

The base set, plus DFFT (driver fault finding test), in person SJT and in person VSE. So I beleive thats 9 tests in total?

Hopefully not too long. I'm guessing OOC has more vacant spots, seeing as the latest advert was hiring for OOC only. Maybe contact recruitment to find out?
I was in the pool from around Feb also.

Just wondering if anyone else from the 1156 Old Oak Common Trainee Driver recruitment has had any recent movement?

I’ve completed both OPC stages and have now passed Stage 2/MMI, and I’m currently waiting to hear from GTS regarding next steps.

Most of the recent discussion seems to be from the earlier Abbey Wood recruitment, so I was curious whether anyone else from the 1156 campaign is at a similar stage or has heard anything about the next stage/DMI.

I still have not received any emails yet from them, so was wondering if anyone has heard from GTS after having done the SJT and having applied that late just like I did. I also did not received any rejection email, which is probably a good sign (?). Hope someone can help

Glad to know I’m not the only one although I am getting quite worried as I will be away for the next 2 weeks and wouldn’t want to miss the chance to attend the OPC… I am also not sure whether would be possible to reschedule the tests? If anyone can advise would be amazing.

Nope, none of us have heard a thing. Kind of a shamble but I they DID list it as a "holding pool", so yeah. It could be a long wait. I've gone ahead and began applying for other roles like dispatcher and guard for other TOCs in the meantime.

I applied for this one... have just had my stage 2 assessment day with The OPC. I heard nothing for about 2 months and then got an email out of the blue with my stage 1, so fingers crossed you hear something soon!

I applied i believe mid june, i passed most of the stage 1 tests prior with a different line so i think they put me through to stage 2 with an addition of the one i failed (group bourdon) this was 07/09, then i got my passing email on 22/09 and was booked in for the dmi for 5/10. I unfortunately couldnt make that date and there was an option to reschedule, i used that option and havent heard back since. Fingers crossed should get a interview slot soon.

I dont honestly know then what is going on with the rest of us. Most of us havent heard a single thing since applying, I dont know how they are working and some people got rejection emails; others are just...waiting. Im not too sure myself, im probably ahead of most people in here and ive had very minimal contact with gts directly (to be honest at all) stage 2 was done by a 3rd party company to avoid bias, so i havent really been in contact with gts at all.
