It seems that the GBR standard for name-plates might be white on a dark blue background/field, if the Southeastern example is anything to go by, though that might just be an interim design to fit in with the rest of the Southeastern base livery. That would mean that the c2c examples are non-standard.
c2c have recently put a tender out for an interior refurbishment of their Class 357s, but it won’t start for at least a year, and I think not be complete for another couple of years after that - they might be the first trains to be refurbished into a GBR interior, though. LNER’s new-build CAF Class 897s might arrive sooner than that, though, and will presumably be in GBR from new. Thameslink’s replacement seats for the Class 700s are in a sense an initiative which will be arriving under GBR, but the sample seat is in the existing Thameslink moquette (maybe just not to bias opinions on the comfort of seat cushions themselves, by not changing another variable in the comparison next to the current standard seat). None of Thameslink’s trains have gotten the GBR livery on their exterior yet.Do all these GBR units have a GBR interior too or is it just exterior work at the moment?
