003 back on the important 2C05 diagram. 002 and 114 on different mileage accumulation trips.

150? coming back from Wolverton Saturday.

Looks like 003 has sat down on 2E11, it left PNZ on time but can't see how far it got as RTT has cleared it

So 114 and 107 both failed when exiting the depot at Exeter which reset the 1000 miles, then failed again at Plymouth so got back to Exeter.

002 seems fine currently. Normally was a reliable unit before the emergency plan anyway

If it becomes serviceable, hopefully it should restore another diagram sooner rather than later. Particularly 2C26's one which has had awful reliability for turning up for a long while now.

Probably crew training, they've done that a few times now.

If it was a fault I suspect that when it returned to Plymouth it would've ran into Laira.
Maybe, but 004 has been inside Exeter Depot for weeks now, which I thought was for training.

107? That one hasn't come down from Wolverton yet, and 114 hasn't been to Exeter today as far as I am aware...

002 seems to have trundled round all day. I see a 150 has replaced 003 at Plymouth for the final journey. 150238 that was working Falmouth this morning

Still nothing ready to run from Wolverton. Will there ever be? Who's paying? GWR don't. On another point GWR been given money by the DfT for Paignton station so the shed there could remain closed for months yet a plastic bin bag in the forecourt, ticket machine and advertising panels were untouched by the fire.

I suppose it's possible that was to get the 150 back up to Exeter for tomorrow, but it seems as if it was supposed to go up to Exeter anyway on an ECS movement.

Love the picture, which depot is 002 pictured at ?
Do you have any further pictures of the No2 end bogie of 79 car and below the soulbar at the bottom of the No2 end bodyside door ?
This was taken through the fence, from the street at Exeter Depot.

Thank

Thanks for the quick reply.
Also are the 400v cabinets, cables and plugs in their receptacles new ?
I'll be honest, I wasn't paying much attention, I grabbed a quick pic whilst walking from the car into work.

003 back on it's usual passenger duties. 002 out again on mileage accumulation and 112 also out on mileage run.

Oddly last week one of the most successful runs was a five car set 3+2. Maybe the two units counter each others faults.

I read elsewhere today that apparently GWR might be now taking on the TfW 158s. If true I don't know what that would mean for the 175s...
This is the first I've heard of that, aside from rampant speculation about the half a dozen TOCs that would potentially want a 158 when TfW are done with them (which they might not be any time soon, given their own stock shortages)

So just to check in on the stats, does anyone have a fleet list of whats where?
Out of how many units are they producing 0/1/2 (delete as appropriate) per day?

On a mechanical front, I'm sure if anyone sees a long term future for them at GWR they will be able to get on top of them - TfW had fewer issues with them and they (historically speaking) majorly outperformed the 180s.

My recollection of the 180s suggests that that's not a particularly high bar! Or did they improve towards the end of their time on the Western?

Its certainly not a high bar and they're not superb now (to say the least), but they pretty much managed to perform across the fleet without much day to day drama.

This should be an up to date list of where each unit is currently based.

003 is the only one being used on passenger services currently.
