I watched Geoff Marshall's video on Cambridge South, where it was mentioned that a Cambridge East is being planned.
Does anyone know about this; is there a thread here which covers it please?
I had a quick look but didn't find anything

Proposed as part of East West Rail.

Our proposed new station, Cambridge East, would improve connectivity and unlock economic growth in the east of the city. This station would be near Cambridge City Airport and along the existing Newmarket Line, which would be upgraded as part of our wider proposals. This station would serve the villages to the east of Cambridge, as well as planned developments in the area, while reducing pressure on Cambridge station. The provision of Cambridge East station would be subject to third party funding.
The station would be near Cambridge City Airport, which is due to be decommissioned, in an area with strong potential for growth and development. Cambridge East would help stimulate economic growth in the area and would unlock a new connection to the wider region through an upgrade to the Newmarket Line, which would in turn enable connections to existing regional links to Felixstowe and Ipswich.

I had a quick look but didn't find anything

It'll function as a turnback for EWR trains to Cambridge, rather than terminating them at the main station for which there may not necessarily be capacity. Its location was chosen to primarily serve the housing development on the current Cambridge Airport site (with the developers funding much of the station costs). It's quite close to the main station, but it'll still be decently useful.

Not sure which of the consultation pieces are new, but the 'Cambridge East' name feels new, and the stabling. Would be curious to see what those plans are - given it is to be something of a terminus on a through line. A Cambridge East turnback has been mentioned a few times in the main...

With the news of a 175 being in GWR green at Wolverton, might that mean it will be unveiled at the Okehampton Interchange opening? (he says being in Devon at the end of of July )

It's thought there is more than one green one and as there is only one two car left at Wolverton which came from Ely by road; it's a good chance it will be one or two of the eight 3 cars there.

There are lots of people putting out information. None of which is sourced. No confirmation when I checked online resources yesterday. I fell into the Realtime Trains trap previously and had to keep revising the opening date every time the source data changed (frequently). For the avoidance of doubt that is no criticism of RTT, they only publish data received from railway sources.

The linked thread on #1 has @RPI stating:

Okehampton Interchange.
A private opening ceremony on 31 July and public service from start of service on August 1 is being widely touted. Sources seem to be a notice in non public areas at Exeter and the local press.

The Moorlander states:

The new £15 million Okehampton Interchange station will be officially opened this week before welcoming its first passengers, marking another major milestone for the Dartmoor Line​

Okehampton Interchange station will be officially opened this week, marking the latest milestone for the Dartmoor Line ahead of passenger services beginning on Saturday 1 August.
Network Rail, Great Western Railway (GWR), Devon County Council and West Devon Borough Council have confirmed that an official opening ceremony will take place on Friday (31 July).

The Okehampton Tines states:

The Okehampton Interchange station will be formally opened tomorrow, Friday, July 31, with passenger services starting the following day (August 1), Network Rail has revealed.
From Saturday, passengers will be able to catch a train from the east side of the town and travel to Crediton or Exeter via the Dartmoor Line, bringing an end to months of speculation over the exact date since Network Rail announced the station would open this summer.

The new station provides an additional stop between Okehampton Station in the town centre and Crediton.
The Dartmoor Line has proved immensely popular since its reopening in 2021, but many have argued that Okehampton Station was inconveniently located for the ever-growing number of residents on the east side of the town.

None of the organisations listed in the first article have anything on their own websites about the opening, which is peculiar.

Speaking to a family friend, she said that when West Lothian Council were in project discussions in 2025, they were informed the estimated station costs would be in excess of £20 million.

It is very close, but not quite. Per one of the brilliant National Library of Scotland's OS maps available in their map comparison tool, the old station was quite small, probably not exceeding 40 metres in length. It was located immediately south of what is now Duntarvie Castle Road, but was then roughly the station footbridge.

The new station is proposed to be north of Duntarvie Castle Road, with the southern end of the platforms being roughly 75-100m north of the northern end of the old station platforms.
