Definitely there for heritage stuff. Plenty of veg magnets to share the loadings.
Had 57010 which was required on the Friday (first off Kidderminster) as a positioning move for the Clayton at Bewdley.
The 57 sounded quite meaty on the run up to the tunnel.
Back coach to Kidderminster behind the Clayton so front coach with 50033 for the run back to Bewdley which was entertaining with Mr Holman on the power handle.
Then the 46 to Bridgenorth (a very entertaining run as usual) for the Deltic to Bewdley (very enjoyable, it flattened Eardington)
The 33 back to Bridgenorth gave me the required Hymek/Teddy Bear to Bewdley where we were to do the DMU/09 drag but decided to stay on to Kidderminster
The run of the day was between the 50, 33 & Deltic.
Going to give it to the Crompton though for the run up Eardington from Hampton Loade.
With 7 on she blackened the skies around Shropshire & sounded fantastic.
All other visiting locos I never bothered with as they attract the crowds.
Finally got a decent shot of 56049 with its name too.
All in all I was happy with my lot.
