Looking forward to the enhanced Meridian pack (I'm guessing this will also include the Hull Trains Pioneer units). Hopefully a Voyager enhancement pack will follow soon.
I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen on this one. Imbue announced an all new Voyager pack in collaboration with ATS a few months back. Perhaps AP will therefore wait for that to release. Either that or they go ahead and enhance the JT model regardless and have no association with the ATS products. Personally, I'd prefer this as the quality of AP enhanced trains generally seems to exceed that of ATS stock packs (in my experience at least).Hopefully a Voyager enhancement pack will follow soon.
Had you read the newsletter, that is exactly what AP is doing.I'm not entirely sure what's going to happen on this one. I was commenting specifically on the Voyager, not the Meridian. The Newsletter did not reference any plans they had for a Voyager/Super Voyager EP, hence my speculations.Had you read the newsletter, that is exactly what AP is doing.

Excellent, I'm very happy with this! I have a feeling the devs at Imbue and ATS may not beAP Have now confirmed a Voyager EP:-

Yes, I imagine it's a new model. Presuming Imbue/ATS release the pack, there'll be a lot of pros and cons between that and the AP EP. Sounds and Physics of the AP version will probably be better, whereas model/texture quality and scripting will probably be better on the Imbue/ATS version. Things like the Voyager's TMS probably won't be featured on the AP version, based on the 222, but the ATS one will probably have a fully fledged implementation, based on the FLIRT.Is the ATS one going to be a brand new model? Will be interesting to see how it pans out. If it is it'll probally cost £45 and need updating within a couple of days![]()

One thing is for certain: I will very likely get the AP EP and not purchase the Imbue/ATS pack, where I might have done so, had this EP not materialised. It'll be interesting to see how many others are in this camp.
So the 220/221 EP manual is out, and every single livery 221101 had hasn't been included, yet 221115s Bombardier livery has been included. I don't think the Ex Avanti by itself is included either, only with the XC branding on top of it.
I think this is to do AP not being able to licence the 'Virgin' logo, it is surely a protected logo.So the 220/221 EP manual is out, and every single livery 221101 had hasn't been included, yet 221115s Bombardier livery has been included. I understand the silk livery not being done, but the plain white and then the white with the Avanti blue ends surely wouldn't fall under that umbrella too?I think this is to do AP not being able to licence the 'Virgin' logo, it is surely a protected logo.
All of the stock in VT livery within Armstrong Powerhouse don't have that such logo.

Yeah, the Avanti plain white livery is a very bizarre omission. And I don't understand why the Silk Virgin one couldn't be done without a logo, but the standard Virgin livery could, the latter of which is far more associated with Virgin branding. Armstrong Powerhouse's inconsistency with including/excluding specific features and liveries strikes again.I understand the silk livery not being done, but the plain white and then the white with the Avanti blue ends surely wouldn't fall under that umbrella too?
Quite a few have noticed this - it seems the acceleration changed after the gradient physics correction patch. I believe on 465s, acceleration tends to drop off above around 65mph and they can struggle to reach 75. I do find it slightly odd though that it takes around 1 minute 30 seconds to just about reach 60 mph on a slight downhill gradient. No other AP packs seem to have this issue, but perhaps this is what the 465s are like? It would be great if any 465 drivers are able to confirm how they accelerate.I've been having issues with the Class 465/466 Enhancement Packs from AP recently, where using 465s seems to have impeded acceleration and struggles to get above 50mph. 466s on their own don't seem to be impacted, and the running sounds I think are an improvement, however the latest update to the files (24/03/26) hasn't fixed this issue from the previous update. Is anyone else having this?
The 0-60 articles in Rail Express list 465s as 69s to reach 60mph and noted as "fastest 3rd rail EMU".Quite a few have noticed this - it seems the acceleration changed after the gradient physics correction patch. That does seem to suggest the current acceleration physics in the AP pack are at least slightly slower than reality. The 0-60 articles in Rail Express list 465s as 69s to reach 60mph and noted as "fastest 3rd rail EMU".
I suppose it depends what sort of gradients are involved. That does seem to suggest the current acceleration physics in the AP pack are at least slightly slower than reality.
I do agree that performance varies on each unit in real life, however I don't think any of the AP networker packs have the variable performance feature (although it would be nice if they did). The 317, 319, HST, the sprinters and a few other more recent packs do have that feature. I suppose it is possible though that AP based the acceleration characteristics on one of the slower units.I suppose it depends what sort of gradients are involved.
Perhaps a "quick drive" test over a dead level stretch.
Another thought though - don't certain AP packs have simulated performance reduction?
I.e. as per reality, you might get a weak unit or a strong unit? Just another wee thought anyway.

They definitely have no trouble reaching 60 in real life; there are stations a few minutes apart on the metro lines where they can get to 60mph. This is definitely not what I'm experiencing in the game however. One thing I also remember was they did previously easily exceed 75mph in the game before these updates, so I think they were right to fix that aspect, but seem to have overdone it.The 0-60 articles in Rail Express list 465s as 69s to reach 60mph and noted as "fastest 3rd rail EMU".
Where and how does one find this?So the 220/221 EP manual is out

The Voyager is out now - I've had a drive of it and the sounds and physics are very good in my view. There is also a discount for owners of the 222 pack.
AP have released a new update which seems to have fixed the issue - I've installed it myself and the acceleration does seem better.I've been having issues with the Class 465/466 Enhancement Packs from AP recently, where using 465s seems to have impeded acceleration and struggles to get above 50mph. 466s on their own don't seem to be impacted, and the running sounds I think are an improvement, however the latest update to the files (24/03/26) hasn't fixed this issue from the previous update.
