It varies but normally within 2 weeks and will be via email and if you've passed they'll most likely invite to stage 2 within the same email.
no, just got put back in the pool for the next lot of assessments when available

I did stage 1 on 05/11 and haven’t heard anything yet - positive or negative. They said 10-14 days.

Have you passed the MMI? When you pass the computerized tests for stage 2 you then do the MMI straight after.

I've been invited to the DMI and have mine next week.
Following a ball around a track and pressing a button when it does something weird, and checking if a set of symbols are matching or not.

More so about accuracy than speed I think, as well as consistency. Better to do 10 lines with 0 errors each time than 20 lines full of errors.

The general structure of the MMI questions are plastered all over this forum, just make sure you have several good examples lined up for each question, as well as using the STAR technique. The computer tests you can’t really prepare for in my opinion.

I was actually in the stage 2 assessment when they informed us that someone was late and couldn’t be let in. I’m assuming that was you haha. It’s good to see that you had the chance to complete stage 2 and go on to DMI.
Unfortunately, I failed on the last question. Gutted, but will definitely apply for the next role.

Yh literally the last question. If you check this forum they basically use the same questions/reword them. Have other examples backed up just in case. The assessors are very fair and try to give you the best chance to pass.

Hah, yeah that must have been me. The M25 was not kind that morning, was that on the 6th of October? And yeah for sure, I'm incredibly grateful to have been given the opportunity to complete stage 2 and move on. And thank you, hopefully you get another chance soon. I'm assuming we must have met at Stage 1 then? or maybe not, I think there was 2 waves originally for stage 1.
They will sometimes ask if you have another example if they feel your example isn't appropriate to the question. As toobusy said, the assessors aren't there to catch you out so they will guide you through follow up questions.

Just been offered one of the trainee driver positions, beyond over the moon. Best of luck to anyone waiting for their results.
I did my DMI yesterday. I'd say it's a mixture of both, there are some behavioral questions (i.e similar to the MMI) where using the STAR technique will definitely help you in answering the question clearly, but it's also a lot more relaxed than the MMI and the two chaps who interviewed me were very relaxed and it felt more like an informal chat about the role as opposed to the interrogation an MMI is.
