Heard some 24***'s are going to Mansfield in exchange for 27***'s for hull19209 InterConnect is now in Mansfield doing the 240/7/16 today. Anyone else knows about busses that has been transferred within the last couple of days excluding 19014/72/75.
Apparently that is trueHeard some 24***'s are going to Mansfield in exchange for 27***'s for hull
Also some Scottish 196**'s may be moving to hull to replace rest of the MANs that don't go to Mansfield
Yes all MANs apparently have be out of hull by end of September bar the MAN E400'sApparently that is true
Why have they all got to be out by end of September?Yes all MANs apparently have be out of hull by end of September bar the MAN E400's
Other news 19639 looks ready to enter service just needs logos added and next stop screens refitted which were removed when it broke
Also 19638 was driving around depot other day so may be back soon
Not surprising really, 22759 sounds like a hoover now, MANs desperately needed replacingHeard some 24***'s are going to Mansfield in exchange for 27***'s for hull

That would be my expectation. I don’t know why DRT is used evenings in Newark and Mansfield but normal service chosen for Retford. With a change in political leadership at Notts CC earlier this year maybe DRT is less favoured? I recall hearing that NCC policy was to convert subsidised daytime routes to DRT format if the area could not sustain hourly frequencies but that does not explain the approach to evenings. Personally in Mansfield I would prefer a pattern of fixed routes based on Sunday daytimes.Unlikely I'd imagine, that's what the DRT is for isn't it?
26269 failed in Hull on Sat. Would presume it's running 250s so that 26269 will be moved to the bus park and take over from it when Hull have sorted itNotice 24161 doing 250s since Saturday. Wonder if it’s a transfer or breakdown cover
That's interesting, as I've noticed Woodcock Street has bus stop flags, but it doesn't appear any services have served it for quite some time. Also been alerted in Hull to a late chance requested by the council to service 61.
It was also now serve Woodcock Street, Witty Street and Havelock Street
Thanks for posting. I didn’t know that. It looks as if it was submitted end of March, so five months ago. A Google trawl shows the paperwork you posted plus a brief report at that time in the local paper - then nothing. I would have expected the Council to have considered and decided by now, but no mention that I can find. It looks like a three phase plan and I guess that in part the depot could remain operational to some extent throughout, with some buses cascaded out in the meantime. Stagecoach seem good at finding parking places (e.g. Newark, Spalding). I might just take a stroll up Sutton Road and see what I can see.I just saw Mansfield depot is meant to be demolished and rebuilt to support EV buses. Surely they can't do all that before January 2025 when the first lot is to arrive, and where would they store the buses ?
This shows all of the drawings for the layout.![]()

Possibly here to replace 16965/16962 later this year?Trident the Bear reporting Scania Omncity Open Top 15012 (LX58 CEY) has transferred in from Stagecoach London
Saw it in town debating wether on not to go on it lol24161 is operating out of Grimsby by the looks of it, its currently on Europarcs (1/2/20)
I wonder if this has any relation to the MANs apparently about to end their reign in Hull?
26269 failed on the 250 on Saturday and 24161 jumped on to replace it. Assume 26269 isn't ready yet as it has not reappeared. It was originally on the 51/250 diagram but swapped with 19207 to go onto the 1/2, with 19207 currently on the 250/51 diagram24161 is operating out of Grimsby by the looks of it, its currently on Europarcs (1/2/20)

It's now jumped back onto the 250/51 circuit so could be changing over later
Just been up Sutton Road. No planning notices, builders signs or announcement boards that I can see. No sign of any building or demolition activity, in fact business as normal!
It has come instead instead of 19239 which was originally due to transfer. 27789 also transferred to Scunthorpe last week.True
19243 is still at Hull so maybe its replacement for 19239
