I would keep trying that symbol as I had some success there, you can then remove excess ticket from basket in that screen without going back via the queue.
I will.

What's worrying is it has saved the tickets despite NOT having asked for my details at any stage. That sounds like they're using some particularly invasive cookies?

I'm guessing Mortons is running the actual event (the non-operational railway stuff, i.e. crowd control, loos, catering, etc.) as well as being the ticket seller. I'm wondering how much chaos it's going to be on the day when 10,000 people show up and there's only a handful of portaloos and some bloke with a disposable barbeque selling badly cooked supermarket burgers. ;)

Pressing the minus sign once had the effect of clearing all four...

...so I've had to join the stuffing queue again...!!!! Currently 53 minutes.

Pressing checkout worked, but clicking pay by card to go enter details was the furthest I got

Has it been stated anywhere how many tickets per day are on sale? I assume its a few thousand at least?

Not that I've seen... although see the post above.

...and if they're rationing to x number of sales per day, they're even more disorganised that we've been saying all day today!!!

It’s like they have never organised a ticket sale before.
Selling tickets online should be a lot easier than this after many years of event tickets being sold in this way.
4 times I got to the Add tickets screen
Got to the screen to complete my details once but clicking on the payment screen then it crashed out.

Organisers of the event should never use this company again.

I clicked onto the payment screen 15 times and never got it to go through....

I'm just glad Mortons don't run trains........................... Or maybe we need more than 200 years to manage demand on something readily forecast?

Well I'm now not likely to get any tickets as work in a school, no chance to see keep trying. Total joke after 6 and half hour plus trying.

I have just received an order confirmation, but at no point did I even get to the point of entering my card details!

If you managed to get tickets into the basket but didn’t successfully check out, use the direct ticket link provided earlier in this thread and you should be able to see the basket and check out. I just managed it and it worked. With the sales halted the system is clearing and allowing transactions to go through.

Still a shambles mind, should have used Ticketmaster or AXS.

That queue was pointless, went from 65 Mins, up to 85, then back down to 55 in the space of 2 minutes. Went off, came back 10 minutes later and it was at 1 minute! Don't know if it was because everyone else has been kicked out but an utter fiasco regardless. And that was after going through the basket 4 times, annoyingly the tickets are on my work computer so can't still get in until it reopens Monday. Oh well!

10k tickets per day on sale is enough to put me off. Just think how busy itl be, waiting hour to get in etc.

Thanks. Worked for me. And no "Booking fees" either. Result!

I’ve just done the same and finally managed to check out, definitely worth a try if you have tickets in your basket.

Thanks for sharing that, just tried this myself and it's worked. But as you say, total shambles from start to finish!

Very frustrating. I suspected that would be the case and tried but it emptied my basket and sent me a confirmation email without me ever having attempted to pay. I suspect that order will get voided. I have emailed to ask if I can pay for the order separately rather than trying to do another order but obviously unlikely to have anyone get back to me
