Never made it to Altona but did see MAV stock on a Budapest service and a SJ sleeper. I heard the CD stock is going further up to Denmark.Suprising number of surprises at Hamburg Altona+Hbf: not only the Czechs but the Hungarians get there too.

thats a shameThe Man in Seat 61 mentioned that NJ will cease running double deck sleepers in April.
Didn't they start having leak problems? They're also restricted to certain routes, I believe.thats a shame
took one again back in september between Vienna and Zurich and was great, wanted to take the Zurich to Hamburg one last time in march but the time i wanted to book they are only running to hannover due to engineering so would be a 5am kickout
edit: looked up again just in case and they are going to run now, but 460 euro for the deulux room(only real way to ensuring you have a upper room without booking other kind and refunding if not
Not sure about the leaks, but they are restricted to the original CityNightLine grouping of D/A/CH where there is a more generous loading gauge.Didn't they start having leak problems? They're also restricted to certain routes, I believe.
Certainly corrosion issues.Didn't they start having leak problems? They're also restricted to certain routes, I believe.
The TER 200 between Basel and Strasbourg show no sign of disappearanceSNCF's remaining loco-hauled IC and TER trains formed of Corail stock, if there are any left

There are still slows between Paris Austerlitz/Bercy and the centre region but they will probably be displaced soon.
The Paris-Clermont Ferrand and Paris-Limoges Corail have at least 2 years left as the CAF Oxygène trains ordered to replace them are delayed until 2027
Indeed, tender is expected this year thoughPlus Bordeaux to Marseille which will be loco-hauled for a couple of years yet.
Technically they could also run into the Netherlands, there are some (not a lot) of photos online of those cars at Dutch stations, though they haven't been used here anymore since CityNightLine ceased to exist. Not sure about the leaks, but they are restricted to the original CityNightLine grouping of D/A/CH where there is a more generous loading gauge
Believe the Nord ones are almost gone.Am a bit surprised no-one has mentioned SNCF's remaining loco-hauled IC and TER trains formed of Corail stock, if there are any left. I would expect that the Corail stock on Ouigo Classique trains, and on night trains (seated and couchette cars), will outlast all other remaining Corail coaches by quite a long way.
Where do the Nord Corail run too?Believe the Nord ones are almost gone.
Amiens.Where do the Nord Corail run too?
Think those have already finished?Amiens.
Amiens.
Oh yes, finished last year.Think those have already finished?
From September 30th yesisn't 2025 the year Transdev take over the (roughly) 2 hourly Marseille-Nice TERs, which will see units replace the Corail sets on these?
Ditto the 'Remodelado' trams in Lisbon - I believe that Carris is supposed to be getting 15 new CAF Urbos trams, but not sure if there are any immediate plans to replace the remaining 'Remodelado' cars particularly on route 28.I think quite a few of them may survive for some years yet. Apart from the fact that - electrically and mechanically - they are very simple and reliable....they are quite a big tourist attraction in their own right.

Another fleet of vintage trams that may not be around much longer is the Gotha cars on the Woltersdorf tramway near Berlin, although hopefully you'll still be able to ride on trams of similar vintage in Naumburg and on the Kirnitzschtalbahn at Bad Schandau for a good many more years.
Another thing I don't think has been mentioned is the remaining Paris Metro MF67 stock: AFAIK it's currently in service on lines 3, 3bis, 10 and 12.
Not sure if there's still any MP73 stock left on line 6: if there is I think it will go sooner than the last MF67s.

Still quite a few, not all MP89s CC AFAIK have been converted to 5 cars. One source even states that a previously retired MP73 was brought back in service this month. Not sure if there's still any MP73 stock left on line 6:
Lines 28, 25, and 12 all require short vehicles... and trolley poles. Streets are too narrow for pantographs as they could accidentally make contact with house walls.I don’t think anything other than short two-axle vehicles can run on line 28.
The Urbos are for line 15, AFAIK.
A routine success for the provider of bad infrastructure.Train service between Busseau-sur-Creuse and Felletin is set to close by the end of the year due to bad infrastructure state and no perspective for renewement. There are currently two passenger trains each way per day.
