Yes, IIRC its had some repair workIs HD02 in long term storage?
Bit out the loop last couple of days but I'll have a look tomorrow afternoon.@sd0733 any idea on the expected state of play for Saturday and Sunday yet?
2 sets at Holyhead tonight as things stand.
W96 had a passcom fault so wasn't sent out.2 sets at Holyhead tonight as things stand.
I saw it at Chester, 67014@sd0733
Hi.
Just seen a 67 light loco pass through Prestatyn - running Crewe C.S. to Holyhead Car M.D.
Headcode is 0T67
Didn't catch which it was.
Do you know please?
Thank you
Dave
Just a few mins after posting that's out of date!W96 had a passcom fault so wasn't sent out.
As it stands tomorrow looks to have -67010+HD01 starting from Crewe at 11:10 to Cardiff (or if possible 09:30 Manchester first).
-67008+HD05 starting 04:54 Crewe to Cardiff
-67029+HD06 starting 04:35 from Cardiff
67014+67012 moving ATC to Crewe ETD for exam and repairs respectively.
Of the other sets HD02 is still locoless and stored at Crewe ETD, 67015+HD03 are at Holyhead waiting DB repairs to 015 which are hoped to be done by Monday and 67017+HD07 is on light exam at Crewe.
Sunday should then see HD01 on the Crewe diagram and HD06 on the Cardiff.
Rather they be used here than going for scrap. Also a nicer place to be than a 197.What a waste of a train - Mk 4 coaches can do 140, a 67 will do 125 and what's it do
on this service - 95?
Today at Crewe depot (23/9/24):
67020 connect to HD02
67017 connect to HD03
Won't argue with that - Mk 3 & Mk 4 are the 2 most comfortable coaches I've ever sat inRather they be used here than going for scrap. Also a nicer place to be than a 197.
Because there's more to a train service than just the maximum speed? What a waste of a train - Mk 4 coaches can do 140, a 67 will do 125 and what's it do
on this service - 95?
Crew related not train. Its heading back to PiccadillyI think HD05 has failed..
So that must mean driver doesn’t sign via Styal? They announced it as a failed train at PiccadillyCrew related not train. Its heading back to Piccadilly
New schedule still via Styal, unless they have another driver I have no clue.So that must mean driver doesn’t sign via Styal? They announced it as a failed train at Piccadilly
I'm not denying that , but TFW could run this at a faster speed than what it does as long as the infrastructure will take itBecause there's more to a train service than just the maximum speed?
They run at 110 from Crewe to Wilmslow & return.I'm not denying that , but TFW could run this at a faster speed than what it does as long as the infrastructure will take it
Seems strange to announce an ECS working as a failed train ?So that must mean driver doesn’t sign via Styal? They announced it as a failed train at Piccadilly
ThanksLots more changes now planned for today.
Only HD05 and HD06 are now out. Both will swap diagrams later with HD05 swapping to working 16:50 Cardiff to Manchester and HD06 14:49 Cardiff to Manchester.
67014 is on rescue duties for stricken classmates, first dragging 67015+Set across from Holyhead then taking dead 67012 to Crewe ETD with a Main generator failure, 014 will also stay for exam.
Tomorrow is still planned for HD01 out of Crewe and 06 out of Cardiff.
Monday should see HD01 starting on 5V33, HD06 starting 1W11, HD04 starting 1W57, HD05 starting 1V31 if everything sticks over the weekend.
Had some issue with the interlock but hoped to still be HD01 starting at Crewe.TfW's journey check shows 1V70 starting from Crewe. RTT says 67010 but maybe swapped if there's a fault?
