I recieved my invite to complete a 'Hogan Personality Questionnaire' around the middle of September. I then recieved another email on Thursday the 26th and offered 2 DMI dates early November to select from. Hope this information is of some help.

I’m based at TBridges but was told classroom training will likely be at Hornsey.

Hi N0rb3rtx,Hi all, I’ve been reading this topic in the last 6 months. I applied to the job role in May, passed all tests and the job interview on the 27th of September (in Brighton). I got the email 3 days after the interview, and it says:
“This email confirms that you passed your Interview process - congratulations!
This means that you have now completed our recruitment process and are waiting in the talent pool for a suitable course.”
Any idea how long I’ll have to wait? Because a couple of members from here posted that they got an actual starting date pretty much right after the interview, so it seems like they won’t be waiting in the talent pool.
Does it mean they had better scores perhaps? Or why the differences? I’m just wondering what to expect for…

I am in the same position as you. There are a few of us on here. In fact, I had my DMI on the same day as you! Congrats on getting through.
The current situation appears to be that they are running 3 training courses next year. Feb, June and November. Though I have heard that the Feb course may not be running or it might be pushed back in the year.
It's just a waiting game now and there are still some people waiting to sit their DMI.
Realisticly, it will probably work on a first come first basis. You either met the required standard or you didnt. I don't think this part of the process has anything to do with the scores on any of the tests.
There were a couple of people that were ahead of us in this process and they have already stated. However, I am not aware of any one who has been given a start date yet. As far as I know GTR are still not sure what's happening with the training schedule yet.

Nothing as of yet. I can only think the Feb course is filled with applicants from within the pool before this intake and June + End of 2025 be another select few from this pool intake..... June would be just perfect.Anyone confirmed for the February course?

Just a quick one—I wondered if anyone has any information on the next intake/training dates for Thameslink Train Drivers in Brighton?
I was originally told there was an intake in February, which I just missed out on, another in June/July that has apparently been cancelled or moved, and one in November.
I’ve been informed that I will be offered a place on the next training session, but I’m not sure when that will be.
To save me from repeatedly contacting the recruitment team, I wondered if anyone here has heard anything?
Also, I was told that the training would take place in Hornsey. Does anyone have experience travelling there for training? Any insights on travel times and the training hours—are they typically 7 am–3 pm or 8 am–4 pm, etc.?

You’ve answered my questions a few months ago on here. Apparently we had the job interview on the same day in Brighton (27th of September).
I did pass the interview, got the email about it next day, but I haven’t heard anything since. Also, I’ve never contacted the recruitment team myself, I thought they’ll let me know when the time has come. Have you got those possible months (June/July/November) from them?
I can’t help unfortunately, because I’ve been only waiting…but I was really hoping to start in the summer. November is so far away :/

Yep, it was GTR that confirmed the dates. When they told me, they did say it was possible they could change.
I had some other bits I needed to confirm with them so took that as an opportunity to see when the next intake would be.
Apparently they review requirements on a monthly and quarterly basis and then decide where they need people and then allocate the training courses based on that.
So the June/July one was moved to another depot.. So people waiting for that one had a nice surprise of a new course coming up... hopfully we will get the same luck!
