RTT is showing the 0849 has departed Cardiff however I assume this is a unit. It doesnt indicate the service will be cancelled at Hereford so has the line reopened?
Realtime Trains says it's LHCS.

It does but TFW has said no first class today which implies none of the MK4's are out. So I wondered if it was an error.Realtime Trains says it's LHCS.
Presumably because, with the current state of play, they can't be certain which units are going to operate which bits of which services, so it's easier to advertise no FC than to advertise incorrectly or have to keep changing things. It does but TFW has said no first class today which implies none of the MK4's are out. Fair point. I assume if its a MK4 they must be confident it can run to Crewe/Manchester and the line is going to reopen soon?Presumably because, with the current state of play, they can't be certain which units are going to operate which bits of which services, so it's easier to advertise no FC than to advertise incorrectly or have to keep changing things.
Was allocated as a double dogbox earlier, automatically flagging it as non-first class, seems to have swapped out to HD04, originally misallocated to HD03!It does but TFW has said no first class today which implies none of the MK4's are out. So I wondered if it was an error.
Believe the idea now one is out is to have that finish at Crewe tonight then at least everything balances for the morning with 2 sets in Crewe, a set in Holyhead and one plus a spare at Canton. Was allocated as a double dogbox earlier, automatically flagging it as non-first class, seems to have swapped out to HD04, originally misallocated to HD03!
67020 Set HD04RTT is showing the 0849 has departed Cardiff however I assume this is a unit. It doesnt indicate the service will be cancelled at Hereford so has the line reopened?
I'm sure anything went this morning just to run some form if service.A single 153 substituting for the Mk4 on the 0435 from Cardiff must be a first.
Do we know what will form the 1249 from Cardiff?
I can see a 2-car 197 is substituting for the 1052 (1W57)
It was actually 2 x 153sA single 153 substituting for the Mk4 on the 0435 from Cardiff must be a first.

yes 67012 Set 3, 1W19 & 1V50I'm sure anything went this morning just to run some form if service.
1249 is now expected to be HD03 so slowly bringing things back to normal.

Thanks both.It was actually 2 x 153s
yes 67012 Set 3, 1W19 & 1V50
Rest as units to keep the sets balanced
HD02 has finished it's run, back on Canton. So we'll have HD04 on a Manchester 1V33/1W19/1V50 start tomorrow, HD01 on Holyhead starter 1V91/1W57/1V46/1W65, HD03 1W11/1V37/1W96 and HD02 hopefully working 1W55/1V42 tomorrow, correct?67029+HD02 are planned a shakedown run this afternoon to Newport and back on https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:18045/2024-10-17/detailed#allox_id=0
if that's successful is planned back into service on 08:49 Cardiff to Manchester and 12:30 return. It'll then stable at Canton to be one of the Cardiff starts on Saturday.
HD06 is on repair at Crewe, HD05 on exam and HD07 heading back to ATC following tyre turning so only 1 set can finish in Crewe tomorrow night.
Yes that looks to be correct.HD02 has finished it's run, back on Canton. So we'll have HD04 on a Manchester 1V33/1W19/1V50 start tomorrow, HD01 on Holyhead starter 1V91/1W57/1V46/1W65, HD03 1W11/1V37/1W96 and HD02 hopefully working 1W55/1V42 tomorrow, correct?
A slight change now in that HD02 will continue on 1W23, instead HD01 will stay in Canton rather than work 1W65.HD02 has finished it's run, back on Canton. So we'll have HD04 on a Manchester 1V33/1W19/1V50 start tomorrow, HD01 on Holyhead starter 1V91/1W57/1V46/1W65, HD03 1W11/1V37/1W96 and HD02 hopefully working 1W55/1V42 tomorrow, correct?
Guessing it’s a Set issue1W96 67012 + HD03 terminated at Abergavenny, journeycheck says Fault on train yet RTT says leaves on line. Can anyone confirm the reason?
JourneyCheck shows passenger disturbance onboard.Although 1V50 appears to be sat at Abergavenny too !
1W96 slipped to a stand on Llanvihangel bank. Is down as poor rail conditions rather than train fault.Guessing it’s a Set issue
It’s currently on its way back to
Canton ECS as 5W96,
Although 1V50 appears to be sat at Abergavenny too !
Thanks1W96 slipped to a stand on Llanvihangel bank. Is down as poor rail conditions rather than train fault.
1V50 is a large group of unruly passengers awaiting BTP attendance.
Some people are just so inconsiderate. Because of them the train will be terminated at Cardiff causing delays and massive inconvenience for everyone else!JourneyCheck shows passenger disturbance onboard.
67029 + HD02 no longer in service, sat on Canton67029 1V34 started at Crewe
No ECS to Manchester
67015
1W13 Only got to Nantwich
Due to 153382 failed on 2K47
1V39 starting at Nantwich
Good guess, that looks to be the plan.I'm assuming the mixup of 67029 and HD02 wil result in different sets on the diagrams tomorrow?
My guesses are:
67020 + HD04 Cardiff loop
67014 + HD07 Crewe loop
