A hotel or similar where they hire a room and you do the OPC paper tests. Normally start at 9 and you’re done by 12.

Thanks but I have already completed stage one and two of the OPC and East Mids said I would skip to assessment center
In that case it’s a whole day where EMR do their own assessment day after stage 1 of OPC tests. Standard group tasks, individual tasks, interviews etc.

The biggest tip I can give is you MUST be able to follow instructions. LISTEN to what they say and tell you to do. You need to learn QUICKLY and perform well under pressure. Once those tests start there is NO asking questions.

Internals at Kettering who have applied know if they have been shortlisted.
No dates or anything as I understand it given yet for tests etc.

The tones.....were a killer but you really have to practise, practise....there is a programme you can buy.......
Use your fingers underneath the desk that helped me........that was my hardest test .......failed it years ago but I seriously practised everyday for 6 months and Ianaged to pass it

I had a program from how to become and the speed was not like that at all
So I feel if I have failed then it will be that test sadly, I did count under the table but one or two were just to quick!

I have done my assessments but now I am doubting myself a lot
I managed to do
Bourdon - 11 (1st test) 2/3/4/5 tests I did 12 lines
Comprehension - I completed all 18 questions but I felt unsure on at least of the questions so had to go with my gut
Dials - I completed 30 (on the day others only did 20/21 - but I have been told 30 is borderline pass?
Tones - I found this harder, yes I completed all the tests but there was a couple where I had to put a number down that was very close to what I thought it was.
I felt ok about it all but have to wait 7-10 days for results but I am hearing bits and pieces making me doubt that I have done enough
Any thoughts on this? And how you compared?

No one knows the pass rate. Doing 30 and only getting 10 right is still only 10 correct. If I remember right you don’t get marked down on that one for incorrect answers although, again I’d trust accuracy and speed being important like with every test! I did 38 when I took mine, I passed but I’ll never know by how much

10 can be as many as 15
