I am also in the process of purchasing a speedo panel so that should not take too long now.I have just confirmed the purchase of a class 365 brake gauge panel.
It does not come with a brake gauge however I'm not too concerned about this because to get one working I'd need an air supply.
So instead I will be making my own brake gauge (with a 3d printer) to the exact same design but the needles will be controlled electrically.
I only need to now get the speedo panel and then I'll have the main 3 front desk panels, which is what my aim is.

I look forward to seeing the completed set in action! I’ve taken the other one out as I had to steal it’s bulbs as the regen brake on button’s bulbs were burnt out.
For £20 + £5 for shipping I’d say that’s a great price for this!

Some new bulbs arrived today which are the same type but at 12V instead of 130V.
I had to scroll quite far back for this but I found it! CAN CAN 4 6 5 accesses a special menu where you can do a test pattern on the internal and external screens, restart the controller and a couple other things which I have shown in this video.I remember there used to be a 'special code' that you could tap in to get a sub/maintenance type menu. If you had the manual, you could try that or maybe ask the person you got it off if they know it.

I tried to do this before with no luck but a new 110VDC power supply came in the post today so I gave it a shot again and it worked!
Unfortunately no bypass to it not being master so I’ll have to keep thinking about a way to do that but at least I can do this test pattern!

You should also be able to display calling patterns, perhaps there is a test that shows all of the stations - some underground stick can do this.not only for when I get it into master but also so then I can try out the saloon display test feature. (I’m assuming it’s like the external one)
I have recently bought an EPROM programmer/reader which is capable of reading the types of EPROMs used in my 365 parts and the EPROM used on my class 158 Vultron Display storage cartridge which holds the destination data. (I will create a new thread for that)
This will mean that I can not only back them up which is the obvious reason but I will also be able to get the raw audio data from the announcement EPROMs, I will be getting two announcement EPROM boards from a friend (shown in the image). View attachment 164686

Have you tried clearing/formatting the program EPROM and then installing the copy of the program file? It might trick the controller into thinking new software has been installed.Database file
