What training dates were available? Are they all after August. Thanks for the response

Yeah mine took 6 weeks just finished yesterday. What days were available? Were they all after August?
Don't know about other dates, they offered me only this date and I just took it as I have been waiting for more than 18 months

Thank you.
Never heard of Spillages, E-scooters and charity workers.
What is the scenario with E-scooters and charity workers?
Coffee spillages- trip hazard
e-scooter - bumping into passengers
charity - blocking entrence exit

Thank you.
Rea they for SBI or roleplay? They look like SBI to me.
Sbi

In the role play ,what reasons shall I give if a passenger asks why he is not allowed to take alcohol?
Drinking it not allowed in any train station.
the main issue with drunk passengers is health and safety issue like falling down the escalators or onto the tracks

Do you usually start Reed screening when when there is a training date available? I was offered the part time role back in January and not really heard anything since then. I've been asked for my documents a few times by the onboarding team but no inkling when I might be offered a start date. It looks like most people have already done their screening / medicals so not sure how far away a start date will be for me.

Has there been any instance where a CSA (Customer Service Assistant) has been denied a role, or might be denied one, due to an occupational health assessment report indicating that the applicant has arthritis?

When on SBI- Make sure you use the 'STAR' template

Good luck to everyone- doing the role play and SBI.

Does TFL use "new entrant" rule for sponsorship?
Advert clearly states you need the right to work in the UK. Why would they waste time/money with sponsorship for a CSA role when there are many others in the queue.

That would be illegal, and the assessment is mainly to check your eyes and ears meet the required standard.

If you have arthritis then be prepared for the fact you will be standing and walking around up to 7hrs a day.

Today, I received a call from the recruitment team to book training dates. I was also informed that I would receive a call from the medical team to schedule my tests. Could you please let me know how long it typically takes to receive a call from the medical team? Additionally, how long will it take to get the results after the tests?

Hi. I believe you applied for the night tube role like me. Now you have received your training dates, did they tell you if that was for night tube or part time weekdays?

I opted in for Part-Time Weekdays after waiting for NT for ages, I lost hope for NT. Moreover Part-Time Weekdays salary is better compared to NT. For 20 hours its £24051 it may be less for others, but personally i felt opting in for this was a good choice for my circumstances.

Thanks for the reply. I'm hoping to do.the part time days too and have told them I'm interested but they've said I will get whatever is available. I'll just be happy to start! Haven't had quite as long a wait as you but still been a good while.

A bold claim, they have multiple questions they can ask based around topics/scenarios. There is no one size fits all and no interview is the same. They could repeat your interview word for word and still not get through and into the role.
Hello is it possible to send me all the questions please

== Doublepost prevention - post automatically merged: ==

There are 4 stages

1 - Online assessment
2 - Class room based assessment
3 - Role play
4 - Interview Via Teams (8 questions, 4 warm up questions and 4 scenario based questions)

Anyone need help with the above I'll be more than happy to help

I have all the answers for all the stages.

Good luck

Ps. I have been successful and waiting for my training.
Hey Mabz well done,
is it possible to send me all the above please

The Forum has become aware of an increase in members encouraging other members to contact them privately to discuss some topics. These discussions are largely taking place on the forum (e.g. using the Conversation feature) but we’ve noted some whereby the conversation has been encouraged from the outset to be away from the forum.

We encourage all conversation to take place on the public forum, to allow others to benefit from the advice and discussion. We acknowledge that some aspects may be better suited to discuss on a 1:1 basis, but we do encourage the use of the forum’s platform to do this wherever possible.

We have also been made aware of people contacting forum members via private messages inviting a payment to be made for provision of information relating to recruitment processes. If you are contacted please report such private message, in confidence, to the staff team, either by using the report function if it’s on the forum, or by the contact form. You can also start a conversation with any of the Jobs & Careers Moderators or anyone else from the full staff team.

If you’ve any questions or concerns about this, please reach out to us as above.

Thank you.

Has anyone on night tube spoken to the recruitment team about flexibility during the training period, because a lot of us have other part time jobs hence why we applied for 2 nights a week. I’m keen to avoid using almost all my annual leave on training, and that’s IF my company agrees to let me take 4 weeks of leave.

There is no flexibility for the first two weeks of training - it is classroom based, 9-5 and this is made clear in the advert. The course will not necessarily only be for Night Tube candidates, and even if it was where do you draw the line?

There may be some flexibility for weeks three and four, as this is live learning on stations, but you won’t know this until you receive your station allocation after you start. If there is flexibility it almost certainly won’t involve solely working two nights a week from the off, and any reduction in the working week during training would almost certainly result in an extended probationary period and, naturally, a longer period of time spent on the training wage.

I’ve said it before on these threads and I’ll no doubt say it again: a job with LU is a significant lifestyle shift for most people, and is a commitment. It’s incredibly rewarding for that, but especially where you have a second job you need to be prepared for that job to be exactly that: second to LUL and it’s business needs.

Call them cause the next stages kinda take some time. It will be Reed screening. Try get as your info for references for the last 3 years from now, will make the whole process smoother.

Do we provide reed with the contact detail of our referee and they contact them, or do we get the reference from our employer and send it to them?

I was told on the day, if you get no email after 2 weeks call TfL onboarding and tell them, and if you don't get it after they say you'll get it. Keep calling it took me 3 calls to get the documents send over.

Good night all,

When writing down your places of employment for the past 3 years, do we have to include all of them? There is one I place I have worked for only 2 months , do I have to include them on the reference list?
Thanks,

Basic English test , you just need to find the grammar mistakes , wrong tense etc and replace them with the correct one.
Then comes the ticket checking , wrong zones etc..
The last bit is where you need to use the tube map ,I suggest you get yourself familiar with it
