I remember parking in there when I worked across the road in Templegate House. BR charged a lot less than NCP or the City Council!Suspect I'm one of the few here who remembers the "Brunel shed" in use at the end of steam, normally for Gloucester and Bath Green Park trains, and occasionally for Severn Beach, although the latter also crossed right across the station throat sometimes, as did through LMR-West of England trains. In quiet moments the spotters at the end of the platform would go for a walk right around the shed. It still had wooden platforms, there was a (foul?) smelling subway halfway along if your train was on the far platform, and a dilapidated signalbox perched high up in the structure which controlled the rarely-used buffer end crossovers. It was a fascinating, almost ghostly walk around, took maybe 15 minutes right round, and there was never anyone else there. The buffer ends must have been right high up against the main Temple Gate road.
I thought the building fronting Temple Gate contained offices?
