I worry that this is salami slicing by the DfT. By removing the 15 minute delay criteria, what next? The 30 minute one goes next. Anything that diminishes a customer's rights is a bad thing in my book.
A few quid refund is a lot of money to some people at the moment. Goodness knows how difficult it is to get a delay repay relayed, as it is.
DfT are said to be aiming to harmonise delay compensation terms between domestic travel modes.
Air travel is at the EU 261 level which can pay out more than the fare, and the aim is to make it a percentage of the fare like the railway.
At least that was in Grant Shapps time, don't know if that is still the plan.
The EU261 scheme has to continue for flights to/from EU destinations, and to Eurostar.

Was this a journey from Manchester to London involving two trains? If so you should make one delay repay claim to the train operator that causes the initial delay.
The first journey was delayed for 17 minutes, more than threshold set by TPE (The threshold is 15 minutes, and my journey time was just 49 minutes)
I would not miss the connection had my connection running, but that was cancelled.

I have filed claims to the operators separately for delay repay for each journey. I think my claims are correct, I am just wondering if One-click delay repay function could handle complicated events like this.

Does this mean for the outward journey and the return journey, or for the two parts of the outward journey?

Two advance single way tickets.
------------------
So, TPE processed the manual claim and is repaying 25% of the ticket.
LNER sent an email for One-click delay repay, repaying 100% of the ticket price.

It's not exactly clear to me what tickets you held but if you made a journey from Manchester to London using a combination of tickets Advance Singles from Manchester to Leeds and Leeds to London, and you arrived an hour later than planned then you would be entitled to claim Delay Repay for 100% of the total cost of both tickets.

To be certain of who this would need to be claimed from we'd need to know the exact trains you intended to travel on and what actually happened on the day.
