Another Problem on my ALR Journey

The ScotRail booking system is allowing me to book a berth from Crewe to Inverness tonight. Not to say that the system is accurate though?

Oh no, thats no good! The whole point is to teach him for trying to be clever, and getting 2 trains when he could get 1!!!

The bit on the right, click on layers, go to Aircraft lable, & click what you want on the drop down menu[like Aircraft Call sign, airport code ecc], & click the cursor to highlight a plane in the air

With the luck the OPs having anything could happen, personally i'd have stayed at Crewe, sorted the Sleeper from there & go into one of the Pubs for a Pint[think the OP needs one] on the Nantwich Road.

The wanderer returns ") on the 2138 MKC to Crewe, have sorted out the berth, lovely virgin staff phoned watford junction to relay a message on i would be boarding at Crewe. And also that the Sleeper Consists of 16 Coaches. Is this the Correct amount?

16 cars is correct. 2 cars Fort Bill - the seated Fort Bills get added at Waverley.

2 Fort William Berth Coaches
6 Inverness with One Seated Sleeper
6 Abderdeen with One Seated Sleeper
2 Lounge Cars

No, i was thinking 6 sleepers, 1 seating, 1 lounge.
But if its correct length like it apparently is, then it must be 5 sleepers and 1 seating with 1 lounge.
I could have sworn it was 6 sleeping and 1 seated, but i must be wrong.

The Inverness is a full 8 car half rake; the Fort Bill length affects the Aberdeen length; Fort Bill + Aberdeen together = the other half set.

I must have counted the Inv portion last time, and assumed Aberdeen was the same.

My journey back to crewe will be as follows

2134 Mkc to Rugby (Pendo)
2204 Rugby to Crewe (Pendo)

Just looked at NR dep boards, & there's a Liverpool train direct to Crewe from MKC at 21:38, gets into Crewe at 22:48[dep 2 min late from MKC ]would have saved all that messing about changing at Rugby

Ive been thinking. If only there was a website which showed exactly where/ what all trains were doing on the network. We could follow it and see what was happening with these trains arriving into MKC!!

My Agenda is i Think to See what the Situation is... With Snow in the HighLands. I'm thinking of doing a Change. I've done FarNorthLines.

So i'm going to do Inverness-Abderdeen,(Bit of Line i have not done) Aberdeen to Glasgow/Edinburgh (Not Decided),Then to Birmingham, Then Back to Ashchurch.Have doctors on Wednesday and I must go, so their is need to go home.

You'll need to let us know your home town, so we can familiarise ourselves with the local bus timetables to help you get to your doctors on time.

Mr Sonic, I think you are suffering from stress. I dont know whats caused it, but i do suggest you keep away from those trains!!
