It does make one curious about what a tube bending machine does exactly, I mean it should be obvious but I do wonder how it works. I didn't know such a thing existed, amazing the things you discover from browsing the forum!

Nothing even remotely as exciting as that for me right now, Schuh is the ad at the bottom of this page but I have no requirement for new footwear yet. For the most part, I don't see any terribly exciting ads anywhere!

The one most curious is on YouTube occasionally, something about a New Muddah (or something like that!) which appears to be a new-build civilisation in the middle of a very dry looking place. Possibly in the UAE, I don't normally pay too much attention to it to know what it is but it occasionally catches my curious side!

Haven't seen this advert for a RSPB singing bullfinch soft toy before

I’ve no idea what prompted this one:

I did order some steaks earlier, that’s the only (tenuous) link I can think of! ;)

A tube bender is actually something I’d buy (I do fabrication, just as a hobby though), although those ones look decidedly industrial!

I saw a banner inviting me to a talent pool for the intelligence services.

A quick look at post #1 in this thread shows us that we've come full circle!

I now have an advert for the Coronation £5 coin. Not a ridiculous advert, and not very badly targeted (I thought), given I have an interest in coin design. However it was the advertising slogan that made me laugh:

"£5 for £5! (+ p+p)"

Followed by the notice: "Legal tender only in Jersey."
I've never been to Jersey, and I prefer jumpers anyway.

It almost sounds like an advert from Viz!

An add at the top of this page suggests that I visit Homebase in Milton Keynes.
That’s at probably 2.5 hours drive from home unlike my nearest store about 15 minutes away at Broadstairs.

Not on here but has anyone seen the advert for the jigsaw puzzle of dogs defecating? I thought it was a parody at first but it is a real product.

Despite the problems TfW are having with almost all their Cl 175 DMUs out of action, they're still bombarding me with adverts for their Cardiff-Manchester trains.

This came up on the Evening Standard website earlier. It wouldn't let me read the rest of the article without answering the question. It would only accept the "right" answer (ie: if you click on the "wrong" answer, it comes up with a message telling you what the right answer is, now please try again).

Why a business based in California thinks that a retired male in Kent might be interested in developing a thriving business I have no idea. I have never been to the US and have no interest in doing so (too many mad people). I have no idea what a P.volve is. I guess LLC is something to do with law?

I got an autisim test quiz. It was disgusting and incredibly inaccurate- it said i didn’t have it,when i do.

I saw that one last night and had been tempted to do it out of curiosity. I wouldn't put much meaning into something called 'Freequizzes' though!
