Thinking about it, you could well be right.
The word aroudn the place was 11 vehicles retained by Stagecoach. Fleetcards mention;
2 Esteems
5 Solos (NW)
3 Solos (Manchester)

Now by my count that's only 10, so 47760 could be the 11th....

Hopefully the gearbox is healthy after the repair...
Time to wave off 16651 then!

Wonder how long it'll last before it's ruined lol :lol::lol:

Looks just like our R reg's used to look before they were given a going over. 16666 still looks the same of course lol.

Sorry to ask about the new orders AGAIN but when does/did the 2010/11 order finish and the 2011/2012 order begin?

Coming back from Kirkby Lonsdale this afternoon on 20546, we'd just reached the outskirts of Brookhouse and it "died" on the move. Luckily quickly restarted but a mysterious happening nevertheless. Just a good job we were going down a slope rather than up a steep one!

Don't think it can be any worse than 16653! Definitely don't miss them things!

Your quite right there :D they certainly wernt in what we would call good condition, but they are gettin there now, loads of TLC from our dedicated garage staff at Chorley and when ya see em floating about you will be thinkin Ghesus

Obviously the tacho's are coming out, them daft rear lights are coming off and geting ready for a bit of route branding after a touch up..:D

Happened to me in odd time in a B10M/B, seems to almost jump out of gear, especially when you take your foot off the gas when coming up to the top of a hill etc... not exactly brilliant but I put it down to one of the quirks of the vehicle! Seems to happen in the Olympians as well... must be the driver...!

(At least it didn't cut out in the gap at the Black Bull)!

Update from Manchester:

After a quiet period - except for the Dragons - there has suddenly been a rash of reports of redundant Stagecoach Manchester stock leaving for pastures new, with various levels of life expectency. These are the reported disposals, but can anyone confirm their arrival at said locations:

Scania N113s (ex Mayne) 15381-4 to PVS

Olympians 16004-7/775 to Sg Devon
Of these 16007 was reported to have left Hyde Road for Cheltenham en route to its new home, but nothing concrete on the other four.

B10Ms 20950/61/3/76/85/6 to Ensign.
For those interested, trainers apart, this would leave 20674/882/938/74/5/82/3/95 still looking for a new home

And now it gets really complicated:
A number of MANs (between 4 and 13 have been mentioned) are leaving Manchester for "East Midland". Initially quoted as Hull, they are now said to be going to Grimsby....or even just as far as Sheffield. Some have supposedly been repainted Orange, possibly for use on "79".

The following individual buses have been mentioned:

22119 "for East Midland"
22126 painted orange
22127 reported on M56 heading for Sheffield/"East Midland"
22147 "for East Midland", painted orange, but reported re-instated at HE
22162 "for East Midland", painted orange
22166 "for East Midland", painted orange, but reported re-instated at AZ
22188 "for East Midland", painted orange

Of these, 22126 is the only "orange" one not previously mentioned as going into the paintshop, so could be a mis-sighting for 22162 or '166, whilst I suspect the reported re-instatements of 22147/66 are incorrect - possibly based on sightings immediately before the buses went into the paintshop.

The MANs in orange are apparently taking over on the Humber Flyer (X1, Hull
- Grimsby). I can only presume that the orange scheme is to bring them into
line with the Humber Fast Cat (350, Hull - Scunthorpe) service which also
crosses the Humber Bridge. My understanding was that Hull was going to be
running the whole of the revamped X1.

Info obtained from another source.

22119, 22127 and 22147 are for Grimsby apparently (for X1, replacing refurbished P reg B10M's), with the others, all in orange, apparently for Lincoln.

This morning:

47007 was Moorclose 51, but no bus turned up for 0820 X5 to Cockermouth, so 47007 done that X5 at 0830, in the hope a bus turned up to run 0830 51, but it didn't, so that 51 didn't run!
20473 and 47616 on Seaton.
47060 on Harrington.
0832 31 didn't run. A very full 22607 on 0847 30 came in, with an empty 20923 running 5 minutes behind, with blank LED.
All 4 Scania's on 300.
20436 and 20994 on 600.

33161 is back out and about in Carlisle, replaced 34705 on 67/68.
34214 on 76.
33076 on short 685, its rear display has been painted over red.
20944 on 554.
52626 and 52629 on 685.
20908 on 104.
20907 was 79/179, replaced by 24118 which was down in workshops earlier.

47755 (Cumberland legals), 47758 (Cumberland legals), 47759 (no legals) and 47760 (no legals) all parked up in the back corner of the depot.
The 5 withdrawn Oly's and 42672 down the back fence, with 16355.

why are they keeping stagecoach fleetnumbers on them?

I'm not sure whether Rotala have a national fleet number. If they don't and number the vehicles for each business separately it makes sense to keep the SC fleetnumbers

15679 on short 3. Now sat out of service at the Uni at 17.40
22813 on short 2.
20540 on X22
22821 on X1 with a very clean and clear side blind.
So far also seen 4 MANs on 2/2a not including the one doing the short into town.

14248 was picked up by Kendal this morning from Morecambe after being re-engined, they came down in Kendal's fitters van. 14193 has changed positions in the yard, with 20127 next to it, joining 20128 on the back fence. 20463 has returned from Frenchwood, minus ticket machine but still displaying tax and green disc.
16103 was on the 4C's today.
17019 was involved in an RTA on approach to the Withy Trees Traffic lights heading into Preston at around 1650 this evening, having just left Preston College on the short 125, appeared that Mr BMW driver had failed to stop and had ploughed in the back of it! Damage looked quite severe to the BMW, 17019 had a broken bumper and boot lid and was heavily leaking fluid.
