There's just something which is making me not like the new livery for PB! think it might be the sick coloured roof and front. It's not that bad though, good modern facelift though. Will be intresting to see how it looks on different bodies.

Noticed the symbol showing it as an LF route on the website has recently been removed, even though it was the first town service in Workington to be advertised low floor back in september 2008, with the arrival of 47023/4. For people not from the area, it was also when 50, 50A, 51 and 51A were all re-organised into just 50 and 51, the published changes at the time even stated that low floor easy access buses would be used on the route when the changes were put into effect..

Pfffft, sounds like stagecoach covering their back because of shortages! if that was the case, why put an LF on it today when Seaton was lacking a LF

Don't know if its the sunlight on the silver or its just I personally think its going to take some getting used too. Don't like the front, needs something there to break up that blue and I wouldn't know who the hell was operating it! Far too many colours used, there are 6 different ones (again don't know if its the sun but why 2 shades of green)?! Personally would have kept the light blue going to the back instead of breaking it up with the dark blue. Certainly different, but they have painted at least one X reg Trident in the blue/off white style interim livery and at the moment I think that looks a lot better than this.

Only seen 15683 and 15686 on long 300.

So, they had 2 oppurtunities to put 53339 on either X4/X5 to replace either 52628 or 20994 but ohh hang on a minute I forgot It's to much work for them!

You might be right by saying it was down to lazyness and they did not change it over but there could have been a defect preventing it from going into service or the tacho might not have been working?

Will depend when you seen it on Staffs I suppose as well, could have been having work done to it at LL and then pushed onto staff shuttle towards back end of the day for a run out. I seen 53339 in the bus station last saturday night on the last X4 of the day, it was in the middle of the bus station for about 10 mins whilst having its ar** revved off, with 4 Stagecoach staff inside 'inspecting' - whether its linked or not I don't know. Bus wash time?!?

Hurrah solo's on Moorclose  Being 47059, it won't be climbing up High Street and Newlands Lane all that fast either!

It was 53337 on last X4 last Saturday night I was passenger on both, 53339 on 0920 X5 to Keswick and the 1100 bus X4 (53337) back to Workington which links in with last X4 of the day.

But 53339 was having it's ar** revved off on the 1320 X5 back to Penrith whilst standing at stand C in bus station if that's what you mean? :D

Hmm, was one night when I was back home, can just remember it being the last X4 at some point a few weeks back! Wasn't happy whenever I saw/heard it

Still looks obscure
Rear is fine, the whole roof green leading onto the front (and why the green hasn't been put above the headlights of the Esteem (or dark blue) leaving two tiny grey patches) is debatable... She looked better in Stagecoach colours!

Does anyone know when the Harrington Seaton PVR is back to 3? At this moment the PVR for Harrington 2 and the PVR for Seaton is 2 as everyone knows but I just need to know when the PVR is back to 3 for Harrington and Seaton with Calva Bridge re-opening soon. :D

April. Calva Bridge is opening to pedestrians only. It's expected to be open to road vehicles in April. Until the bridge is open, it can't really be taken back to 3, unless they want services running 10-15 mins late on peaks.

The PVR is good at 2 everything is alway's on time well mostly on time but when the PVR was 3 everything was always late and why did we actually withdraw the T reg Marshall Capital's? they were a wreck but if we had them now it would solve our low floor woes.

In theory:
47005/6/7 in to replace 40028, 42534 and 42562 (which ended up having a major mechanical issue).
PVR on 22 decreased from 2 to 1, and 30A was cancelled, so 42565 and 42566 went (even though they were largely B10M operated).
42565 re-entered service when PVR went up on Workington Town for Seaton, then replaced by 42025, which mainly worked 58 so a LF mini was available.
Sellafield on-site work passed to Reays, the on-site work being what the Vario's, I believe, were brought here for, so 33167/8 went.
33169 was replaced by 47474, which was then taken off us with no replacement.

Obviously, it didn't all plan out that way, because of the floods, so what happened in reality was slightly different.

Left us with lots of B10M's and just enough LF mini's to cover PVR.
34215 and 34218 coming in did help out for a while, but Solo's are disappearing left right and centre. Doesn't help that 34079 has been off service for almost 2 months now.
