Sorry, I knew my move was a bit 'interesting' but I wanted to go to the beach :)! We took the Bournmouth Boating United Ferry Services boat, which runs roughly half-hourly in summer, and so 10 mins walk + max 30 mins + 40 mins ride = 80 mins. I've just realised I allowed 75, so I'll adjust out arrival time to 13:40 to fix that.

The website linked to in my post above (the Mudeford Ferry) operates a ferry from Hengistbury Head (where we currently are) to Mudeford Quay, where we could then walk to get the bus on Chichester Way. Hope this helps clear things up a bit :).

Yes, so we need to allow X amount of time from 1340 at Hengistbury Head to Mudeford Quay. Let's say it takes half an hour, including boarding, docking and alighting, and then a seven minute walk to Chichester Way, that takes us to 1417.

We can then board the 1433 More Bus service X1 to Bournemouth Hospital, arriving there at 1505 on Friday afternoon. Is everyone happy with those estimates?

I would agree, but you seem to have made two moves at once - no-one ever moved us to Mudeford Quay, we were still ay Hengistbury Head I think?

Oh, I was under the impression that Felix made a move to Mudeford Quay in Post #18088, or was he just re-iterating the move to Hengistbury Head, as it's from here I'm having issues.

A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
Feeling adventurous, and taking advantage of the lovely local scenery, we take the 0.4 miles walk to the Town Quay (on Quay Road), where we board a Bornmouth Boating United Ferry Services ferry to Hengistbury Head. There is no actual timetable, but it runs roughly every half hour in the summer and takes 40 mins, so we'll assume we get there by 13:40 Friday afternoon.

This would appear to be the last valid posting made, from which matters should be continued and any invalid postings should be struck-through.

Having remembered that we've just come from Salisbury, we continue east on the 21:45 South Western Railway service to Clapham Junction, arriving there at 22:48 on a Friday.

Sorry, but not possible to arrive on Friday, as the previous posting arrived at Havant at 0035 on a Saturday morning.

I think he may have missed the move to Havant and instead went to Gatwick, which arrived before midnight.

From Havant, we stop off overnight and return for the 0504 South Western Railway service 2P12 to Guildford, arriving there at 0556 on Saturday morning.
