I traveled from Euston to Preston on the APT on 24th August 1984, along with my two sons. None of us felt sick at all, nor did anybody else in the coach we were in.
Of course, adjustments and modifications were made to the tilt system by that point and when it was operating in public service it ran at a lower speed; "officially" limited to 125mph (it ran at up to 140mph in the 1981 press runs), but frequently slower than that due to following the 100/110mph WCML regulars.
