Earlier on somebody said about the APT-D. What was this? Was there any concept art for it?

There's a mention of it on the link on the previous page which says it was a development train used to design the mk IV stock.

It was basically a short APT-P set with a modified trailer and new bogies. There are pictures available on the internet.

I do wonder why they ditched the articulated coaches for IC225. Maybe difficult to remove trailers when required?
