Interior wise 159003 is pretty much exactly the same as the 159/1s (seems to have a few extra FC seats than before but it might be a trick of the memory).

At least the memory foam seats are starting to soften.

Appears there’s a 450 in Northam being rubbed down, all the yellow vinyls around the doors, and old stickers have been removed. It’s in the shed next to the window London end of the depot.

At Portsmouth and Southsea Low Level am I right the very old board featuring the obsolete Waitrose logo and SWT (or was it NSE?) 442 sign has been removed?

Yes, there were several boards of art work which were all removed a few months ago.

Thanks.

As always, if you spot any issues with the fleet list, be sure to notify me here or on PM.

I saw a good few with SWT on Friday.
Strange. I’ve not seen a 455 or 456 with SWT logos for weeks and I’m on them every day.

I have also seen at least one 450 with SWR logos every day this week. Looks like there’s finally an effort to rebrand them before their refurb.

It’ll be interesting to see if the 444s get the same treatment. I’d imagine dark blue writing on a white background.

I'm surprised the 159/1s and 158s that got SWT repaints haven't had the SWT logos steamed off and replaced by SWR ones. I can understand not doing the 159/0s given they will undergo repaints as part of their visits to Loughborough this year.

With the 444s they maybe figure that it is not worth it. They are so filthy on the outside that by the time you have cleaned the white band below the windows and stuck a full length vinyl on (looking at how they have done the other units) it is a lot of effort, plus would look odd with shiny white vinyls and the dirt stained white elsewhere. Plus it wouldn't surprise me if the 444 fleet were put through their refurbishments first (to get a consistent fleet layout and reduce the switchover period from 2+1 to 2+2 in First Class) with the 450 fleet then done after that, so given the 450s will be unrefurbished/unrepainted for longer putting vinyls on makes sense.

450102 and another (112) both in Northam depot with SWR stickers. They’re rattling through them now.

450111 now in SWR livery. Internal and external refresh apparently.
Is this a personal sight or just word of mouth?
Also - I read on WNXX' forum that 450113 is the 4-DES currently being done at Arlington's.

And a couple of posts on FB.
Yes that is confirmed interior and exterior completed Friday. Apparently due on ITV tonight at 7:30 live!

Outside same as others, new carpet and seats fitted.
